I would love to see this expanded with some more mechanics. I saw in the description that there were going to be more stats involved? But I enjoyed the vibes here, and think it's a neat idea! Nice work!

Developer

We ran out of time before we could make a little indicator that shows the stats of each item, so I put them in the description, in case people wanted to see them!

Cool idea; I always like sort of "guild management" kind of games where you send someone off to do a mission off-screen with whatever preparations you can manage.

I like the different kinds of metals doing different kinds of things, but having to make all of them again every time got very tedious very fast. I think I personally have preferred to have some information about what the chameleon was going to walk into at the start, and then equip him accordingly (maybe with some kind of scouting mechanic or something?), so that I'm not continually making things in vain.

The art is really good, and the concept feels like it can work really well, but I definitely got a bit frustrated with having to do the same things repeatedly.

Developer

Yeah, I do agree that its too monotonous to create the gear each time. After the jam I'll have a few fixes to push and one of them is letting you keep the previous armor you sent them up with!

The chameleon guy was pretty cool. The whole artstyle is awesome too. I missed colors on the armour, but still enjoyable

Had to get used to some of the controls at first, but after that it was very interesting!

Really cool idea for a game. Making and selling weapons and armour would make for a really cool full game. The more detailed sprites, like the chameleon are really good quality.
Being able to pet the Chameleon is such a nice touch. I love it.

liked the style! especially the main character :)

Very cool idea! I love the concept of smithing gear and selling it to an adventurer, I think if this is fleshed out a bit more it could be a really cool game!

Sometimes dragging things around in a very repetitive way could feel a little monotonous, but I think this is a very beautiful and solid foundation!

Great job:)

cool art! controls are a bit janky but I was able to figure it on through trial and error. Interesting experience.
