I didn't call anyone :D Very polished and fun to play game. Simple but enjoyable. Great entry!

I love this idea of a mini open world. And it's been really well done here. The fact that you can accidentally run into a quest or item is cool -- e.g. finding the bandit camp in the woods. It makes it feel very open world-y despite the relatively small size.

My only complaints are that the first quest from the wizard says the hut is in the west, when it is, in fact, to the east; and that the game abruptly finishes when you return home, even though I still wanted to complete the other remaining quests.

Anyway, nicely done on this. I enjoyed it!

Thank you for playing! You should be able to continue playing after you finish, it just resets you to the last point where you discovered something before you finished the game. But maybe I should have added a clue to the fact that the game is over once you return home.

This feels so polished and unique. I adored every bit of it. If you're up for it check out my atmoshpheric, voice acted game Pothos Fate.

would love to have a guide to figure out the quests with!

This was a super fun and unique idea! I love the tiny pixel map, only thing I noticed was that some of the directions told me to go west, but the objective was located in the east, for example.

Developer

Hey thanks for playing! Do you remember which ones pointed you in the wrong direction? I wrote a lot of text in a very short time so I might have messed up at some point...

I think it was one telling me to go to a fishing shack to the west, except it was actually to the east. The coordinates still pointed to the right spot though!

love the game, very cute art style! one issue i had was pressing the same button repeatedly, but apart from that verry enjoyable game

Simple but really enjoyable exploration sim, I found most of the quests but could definitely explore this world longer. Good job!

this is fun, my only gripe is having to press the same button over and over again sometimes. Is there a way to quickly move that I'm missing or is that intended?

Developer(+1)

Unfortunately that's intended, because I didn't know how else to ensure players don't miss anything.

Thanks for playing though!

That is a good point. Maybe if you held down a key it would slowly automatically move you in the direction, so that you could have enough time to read it but not have to keep click over and over? Idk but hey it's a cool concept and it looks good
