It lacks a bit of juice, and I didn’t notice the indicator on the right & the hints changed between scale, volume & surface at first and never matched. Otherwise, I had much, the idea is interesting, great job! The full voice is appreciated.

Developer

Thanks.

A pretty cool game, and I think that you succeeded in what you had set out to do. It feel pretty complete, allbeit a bit repetetive. I think the game could have benefitted from a bit of variety in what you have to do. And while I do like the voice acting and the different characters, I was hoping that they would somehow tell a story, like the first guy asks you to make his knife small, then the next guy tells you that he was robbed by someone with a tiny knife and needs you to make his crowbar bigger so that he can defend himself next time. Something like that.

All in all a pretty impressive and polished game. Well done!

Developer

Thanks for your review! You raised a few interesting ideas some of which I also thought about. If I am going to expand on this game I will definitely take them into consideration.

Pretty cool! I liked the voice acting, for sure. It did feel like something in the math might have been a little off at times, but I was doing alright. Nice job!

Developer

Thank you! By now I am sure there are a few problems with how I calculate the sizes. I'm glad that you enjoyed it anyways! :)

Before going in this game: "You reckon' you can handle that?"
After finishing about 50 orders: "Now that's what I'm talking about!"

The voice acting is entertaining, overall atmosphere is wonderful!

I think the gameplay itself has some bugs though. %40 smaller of a 100 unit object would be 60 (right? I had a long day off of work..) but when I put in the number the costumers have a negative response. This went on a couple of times during my playthrough, but no biggies! It was a geniunely fun experience.

Well done!

Thank you for your kind respone. There are indeed a few issues with the calculations. I'm glad you enjoyed it anyway.  What could help is, that the changing number to the right is only a hint. Example: If you have to change the volume, the number would either display the current scale or the surface area of the object. Not the current volume.

Either way, thanks for playing and leaving a kind response :)

Really interesting art style. Love the voice lines and melancholic atmosphere.

Developer

Thank you! My games always tend to be very melancholic. I'm very proud of the feeling I able to capture :)

The art, music, and voice acting all worked well together and really set the atmosphere for this game. The gameplay itself was smooth after understanding the mechanics (though it took a bit to get there admittedly...). Overall it was a joy to play :)

That's great to hear! I was afraid that the gameplay fell very very short, but maybe it only fell short a little x)

Damn really good art and super cool to have voice acting in a 4 day jam !!

Love the ambiance, I hope that the green mage will end up going for new adventures in the end !

We had alot of fun with the voice acting. It was a fun little challenge.

This game has  helluva style and creativity, the gameplay can get a tad repetitive but I recon that just the time limit comin inta play.

I love the idea of scaling different parts of objects to different sizes to make truly strange  things.

Developer

Thanks for the kind respone!

Really nice game, it's simple but it works. Would be cool if there were other things to do.

Developer

Thank you! I would love to iterate on the idea and add more things to do :)

Solid concept, visuals were amazing, voice acting, "spot on, mate". Only issue was that part of the customer's speech bubble was covered by the curtain, I'm thinking probably due to screen size scaling issues? Cuz my screen is quite wide.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the reply! And you're right. A wide screen will cause trouble with the ui. I hope you enjoyed it anyways :)

Loved the voice-overs and the unique art style. It took a little getting used to, but after I learned the mechanics it was pretty fun!

I absolutely love the artstyle, music choice and the voice acting! The atmoshpere is honestly amazing with this game. The artyle reminds me of Masochisia. Well done! One of the most atmospheric games I played this jam.

I love the artstyle!

Developer

Thanks for the compliment! I really wanted to do something simple that I could scribble up fast. And by being consistent with it I think it turned out great.
