It's really satisfying to get a big combo and see everything roll and switch!

The art and sound were excellent! I was a little confused by the gameplay at first, but once I the reroll abilities started stacking up, it became very satisfying to watch. I do wish there was a clearer visual indication of when a new upgrade is available, since I missed that a lot, and I also wish there were more predictable (or more obvious) rules for how the dice merged. Still, with the re-rolls and the art, this was a very satisfying experience. Well done!

Very nice idea that works well, I think there's some jank as sometimes I'd have like a row of 3 with the same type and value that just wouldn't change which was annoying! But overall the game feels like something thhat I'd like to see improved upon in the future to make a really fun game of playing the odds!

Ok. Took me a minute to catch on, but yeah, agreed with the comments below. You're on to something. Great work. You get drawn in, and then you're trying to figure out where best to put the next one, cause maybe this happens then maybe this happens then maybe this happens. Brilliant :D

This is my favorite game of the jam!! It's kinda addicting haha. Quite glad the bug was there for the shop or I may not have stopped playing! Loved the style, music, powerups, the whole package and how chaotic it felt once everything chained together. My one thought is it wasn't immediately clear to me how it fit the theme build to scale. Also, I didn't understand exactly what the powerups and slots were doing for a while but I'm sure all that polish would just come with a little more time.

I love the idea, and it looks great too. Well done :)

I liked it a lot. It feels like it takes some inspiration from 2048 which I think a lot of people enjoyed so I think a lot of people would enjoy this as well.

About 3700 pts until it glitched the shop.

Please release this game on Steam, would have paid at least 10€ for this puzzle, it can get as addicting as Balatro

Perfect, had a lot of fun! All hail to gambling!

Really cool concept! I can see this working  as a full release.

My favourite game of the jam so far. Really hooked me in.

Really hope you come back and fix the bugs. The store as you mention, also the game fills up past my screen, and there were several times matching dice wouldn't merge, which was frustrating. Also recommend changing either the yellow or the green colour, as they were quite hard to distinguish.

Only mentioning these as I had so much fun with this game. Well done to you sir.

Thanks for the lilking. Will work on those after!

This is a super cool project! Congrats on submitting!

I was immediately drawn in by the color-matters, value-matters dice game. Big board game fan so you have my attention! And while it's more puzzle than I was hoping for, it's still a lot of fun... once you get into it a bit.

I think the dice rolling and resolutions could be sped up significantly. Waiting for each die to drop, rolling, resolve, then roll and resolve each affected die became a slog. It should be exciting, but I got annoyed waiting for the next step. A more polished release might have some speed-up options for those that want to play more quickly.

I had a bug in my playthrough in which a pair of matching colors didn't merge. To the best of my knowledge, the sequence was this (with image below showing the final, incorrect state - I think I misnumbered some in the picture in haste - sorry lol!)
1. Dropped die causes a merge with the blue die at the top of column 5
2. Rolled 3 causes the yellow die below it to reroll into a two
3. The yellow two first swaps downwards with the green 1, then rerolls the red to it's right, rolling a 1
4. The red 1 swaps right with the yellow 2
5. The two yellow 2s are now adjacent and it's my turn (or the game is hung because now I don't see my mouse in my screenshot)

I don't know if it's something to do with the number of chains, or perhaps something about the final right-swap not checking the die it swapped with for matches?

Either way, still a super cool game. Great job!

Thanks for the detailed feedback. Others have pointed it out too. There is a bug causing the merge not happenning correctly after the switching. Will definitely fix that in a more polished release (if there is one lol). Thank you!

Score upwards of 2000 before the store broke.

Very fun once the effects start chaining together, could probably accelerate the resolution of those effects a bit (like Balatro), because I felt like I broke it at times by placing dice while effects were still chaining.

Anyway, excellent, thanks!

Solid suggestions, thanks!
