The Hero shrinks and enlarge, giving him different powers. He also shoot projectiles that shrink or enlarge the enemies, which gives them different debuffs. (Screenshots in the comments)

I love the overall aesthetic if the game, gameplay is satisfying too!

Mmm, I don't know if the point of the game is to survivre as long as possible, but by turning into giant regularly I didn't have any problem with the enemies. I still enjoyed the retro mood of the game, and the announcer audio effect!

Played this longer than I thought I would! Very nice graphics! Love the retro style announcer too! The enemy spawning in tend to get stuck, making it impossible to pickup the item drops, otherwise, well done!

I'm a sucker for a retro feel and you've nailed it. I was waiting to become a kaiju though! Hopefully that's a later upgrade. Nice work, excellent soundtrack. Thanks :D

You did a great job of reproducing that classic arcade feeling. I wasn't sure about the controls at first, but they ended up feeling intuitive, and I enjoyed the run and gun style gameplay. My standard attack was sufficient for enemies though, so I didn't end up using the shrinking or growing powers much, resulting in the theme not feeling well integrated.

style feels like the old beat em up games, and i felt like a superhero. However, the giant form was a little too overpowered that i only really used the normal bullets in tandem with giant mode. Also, the enemy gets stuck a lot and the webgl version eventually started to lag after about 5 minutes (possibly the amount of enemies being spawned offscreen idk). overall, really good

An enjoyable play, took me back to the old days of power-ranger games.  The cool emotion of being a extremely OP superhero, absolutely destroying thugs was definitely there.

Got myself this sweet score before the WebGL build started dropping frames very hard, unfortunately - I suspect a lot of things started spawning offscreen.

Stuff I think may use some improvement: the enemy spawning  - I saw this feedback given below, too, so I'll just mention it here. I also think if the base attack was a bit more linked to the idea of scaling, it'd be cooler - the GiantDama and LittleThingerer are cool but sadly its cumbersome to use them when I can just brainlessly shoot and pawn most enemies with the normal bullets. Instead, if they were more frequently usable, and shot out, say, automatically every time they were up - giant enemies would crowd spaces, leaving less room to escape but also helping you by blocking others, whereas smaller eneies would be harmless and easy to weave away from... something to think about.

All in all, very cool submission! Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Cheers!

I felt like a power ranger!

Really good spritework and sound design. Very evocative of early 16-bit games. Plus, I’m always a fan of Binding of Isaac style controls. I think lots of enemies got stuck on geometry though.

DHN i love it

Really fun to use the scaling power ups! sound design is smooth and fitting too

fun run and shoot controls, didn't really know where to run in the map, but it was fun to use the large and small versions while fighting :)

ENEMY MOUSE GIRLS INBOUNDDDD!!! THE GAMEPLAY IS SO FUNNY I LOVE IT, AND THE ART IS RLY ENJOYABLE

more of a proof of concept than a full game, but it's a cool idea, and the theming and characters are pretty good

Great retro arcade feeling! Simple but fun! Enemies get stuck very easily. Stopped playing around 13k points. Did not seem to get any harder. Nice music and voice sounds.

I like that enemies run away when you go giant. You can try to lure them all in and then go giant and kill them all instantly! So much potential here, just needs a bit of polish.

Neat game! My high score was 2310, the sprites, designs, and animations on the player and enemies were really really good, very smooth, amazing pixel art! The gameplay is a bit repetitive and a lot of enemies end up spawning inside the buildings and getting stuck. Great job!
