A great original concept game. Kinda like what it will happen in the afterlife. The scales and the movement of the landscope is so cool and it gets me on this megalophobia feeling. Really nice catch. Can't wait to see a polished version since every experience is unique. I also like the way of god talking.
I got chills the second time the horns blared. I spit in your face cruel deity!
Very intresting experience! Cool to see a horror game with this topic, I had a variety ideas for a game like this but couldn't figure out how to make scope work with the time restraints. I think your game does that perfectly, and the effect of walking towards something and having it be so much farther way. You definetly have the mind of a writer, and honestly seeing the player character's body had my intrest piqued for lore lol.
Love the statue man, they are my friend :)
Interesting experience. Has a very nice atheistic.
I don't know if I totally got the objective but I really like the effect of objects becoming smaller as I approach which is the opposit of real life. Scale is definitely the main topic.
Hey, thanks for playing my game. Maybe I shuld have made clearer that this game doesn't have any objective other than experiencing the scale changes and the small narrative that, hopefully, made you question the horror of being stuck in such a place for that much time haha
this narrative experience shines in the meaning of the word, in the meaning of scale, as appose to a sea of challenges and games that build on this topic . Very interesting and unique.
Perhaps with your mind of a writer and my abundance of free time we can triumph as one.
Yeah, why not? I have several game ideas already on stock.
Btw, I'm really glad for your words about my game.
Very atmospheric, but also kinda boring which I suppose is the point.
At least there's a gaint guy to keep track of time for me
Strange and quietly terrifying!
This is trippy as hell lol, that’s awesome! and the scenery is certainly beautiful! I do think the experience gets a bit tedious over time, but I guess that’s kinda the point. Great job!
Thanks very much for playing and for the comment.
It's very good for us as players that we can decide when to leave the game, since there is no real end. Tedious might be just a valid feeling for experiencing the very slow passage of time in this realm. Now imagine if you're really stuck in this place forever...
Very great points! The game does a very good job in giving us players a glimpse of how such a place could feel, which I guess is part of the huge value videogames have as media: to let us experience other worlds. And to do so with complete control over the experience. I’m glad I stumbled upon your game! It might be the most introspective in the whole jam.
what did you take when making this?
Haha, I was just under the influence of a very powerful drug called "Outer Wilds". Maybe this is very different from the game but my initial idea was to do something like the journey to the Quantum Moon. After that many different ideas started to pop and this game was born
An interesting, Lovecraftian experience. Very atmospheric.
Thanks very much for your comment. I checked your profile and your art is amazing. I'm gonna play your game as soon as I'm out of the office
