This is adorable.

Aside from that, i love the theming and concept here, also of course a fellow gnome game is always appreciated haha.
I do think the actual gameplay could be polished a little more though, it was a bit tedious to actually look through the little scenes, in part because theres not too much in them but also because the camera control is pretty slow.
All in all a very relaxing game though, the sound design and art direction is very fitting for a cute concept like this!

Thank you for your positive feedback! These are certainly points of improvement. Thanks for playing :)

Super cute game! I like the interpretation of the theme to look for *small* clues in a big world, very clever. I think moving around the magnifying glass is a really slow, slower for me than in the gif in the screenshot. Since it's Unity, I'm guessing you need to multiple the change to the camera velocity by Time.deltaTime to ensure it is the same distance per unit of real time regardless of the device's frame rate. Tutorials have more relevant info. Cool game though, I like the gnomes!

That's great to hear! You're completely right on the time.deltaTime part, I should've implemented that. Definitely one of the first points of improvements. Thank you for your feedback, and pointers :D

This game looks great. Sadly couldn't find the seeds :(

Developer(+1)

Thanks for checking it out! The seeds are hidden (spoiler): near the gnome who's trying to build a house.

HAHA~!!! This was so much fun, had an absolute blast helping all the gnomes(Sometimes to detriment of another gnome). Great artstyle going on as well. I always got myself a huge smile whenever I heard the gnome sound.

Developer

AHA Glad you enjoyed it! <3

FOUND THE SEEDS! LETS GOOOOOOOO!!

Such a cute game! I really hope the gnome I took the matches from will be alright - maybe he can visit the one in the pond in his new house. The art style is so nice and cozy and the way magnifiing glass works  just feels right as if I was actually looking around using it. One of my favorite games from the jam so far. Great job!

P.S. I also encountered a visual bug with the flowers (see below) that I would like to point your attention to.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing!! Haha don't worry he'll find a new bed. We sadly didn't have enough time to fix a lot of visual clipping issues :') but thank you for the feedback and for playing! <3 appreciate it

Super fun game, and really cute! I didn't get past the second part, but I absolutely loved the little gnomes and the frog. I wish I succeeded in giving him a new hat

Developer(+1)

There is a little replacement cap-hat hidden somewhere in a certain bush where certain blueberries can also be found..

I got it! I managed to finish it this time :D Very cute credit scene

Super chill game and pretty fun

If I could change one thing I would make it possible to look around faster with the magnifying glass

The art is really nice as well

(PS: fellow Nederlanders of Belgen?)

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much for playing! Usefull feedback.

Nederlanders indeed, how did you guess? :)

Submitted(+2)

I guessed because Loep is a fitting choice for the name of the girl ;)

quit a cozy little game! I did find the gameplay a bit too slow, maybe add some extra things to do or just increase the speed of the magnifying glass and the character. Still had fun though! definitely the type of game I could see myself playing  on a Saturday evening or something

Developer

Hey thanks for playing and the feedback! It was nice to hear such a positive response!
