How does your game fit the theme?
We've used a bit of a pun. You build to scale the wall of a lighthouse.

Honestly my fav game so far and I'm giving it perfect score! Dunno how you did it, but losing didn't feel bad at all, it was rather funny instead. Maybe it's thanks to the general vibe that was set by the art itself :D I also like how, despite it being a mechanically simple game, there's some level of skill expression to it too. Great job!
Love your game, gave it all 15 stars. Very fine graphics and animations. Great work!
It's incredible how you guys managed to make this game in 48 hours. Pretty polished and fun with very arcade feel. Nice Job!
Incredibly fun, incredibly cool game, super impressed this one was done in 48 hours. The only suggestions I have to make is that the blocks' textures could go out slightly further from the wall so you can tell more easily if something is to your left or right, and I think a Tetris-like "Next Up" list would also be nice, so you can plan ahead. Otherwise, no complaints, super fun game, super great arcadey platformer!
With regards to the "Next Up", do you mean for what blocks you can place or what the next area is going to be? I can only imagine you mean the former, in which case we already have that in the top left corner but maybe you weren't in full-screen :) As for the blocks sticking out of the wall, we really want(ed) to do something like that but since the game is technically just a 2d image projected onto a 3d cylinder, we can't really add depth to the play area. We might look into this for an update but glad you enjoyed it nonetheless :)
Super addicting gameplay! It took me a little while to figure out that the gray bricks already on the lighthouse were platforms. I kept trying to place initial blocks with left click and it only worked occasionally, but I eventually realized that I only got blocks to place after climbing a certain amount (or waiting a while).
I really like the 2.5D wrapped aesthetic. I wonder if it would be possible to make the blocks slightly 3D (i.e. have them protrude slightly) so you can see them more clearly as they come around the bend of the lighthouse and more easily distinguish between what can be jumped on (e.g. plants) and what can’t (e.g. windows), but maybe that would detract from the aesthetic you have.
Super jaunty music too!
I am really like the concept! Musics and art style is awesome
A really polished game! I love the sprites and the use of water as a timer, that made it very frenetic. Runs really smoothly too and the Caribbean music was great. Slight note that there's a few different spellings of Caribbean going on 😅
Wow this is such an adorable little game there! It took me a bit to visually tell that the grey bricks on the tower were actually climbable. But once that was out of the way, the rest was easy to pick up. I can totally see this as some sort of mobile game in the app store. Very simple but very addicting game play. I love it!
Oh this looks like a fun little time sink! Figuring out I could jump and then place a block directly under my feet definitely was a game change. Wrapping a 2D image around a tower is a clever aesthetic choice, I like it! Very nice job overall.
Great idea and nice graphics! I think it could've been a little more forgiving in the first minute, while the player is still getting used to things. As is, it's very hectic right away. Once I got the hang of it, it was a lot of fun!
Spectacular use of space! Creativity was off the charts from the water acting as a timer to the implementation of the scaling feature. The block placement mechanic felt a bit hard to use at times but overall such an incredible job!
