I like the idea of compounding/scaling upgrades. This concept has quite a lot of space to be expanded upon, and I hope you do! I think making it a little more challenging (or adding more stages) would be awesome. Great work! :)
The art is really good and I liked the concept. However right now you can just wait out the timer and not fight. Maybe have it so you need to kill the enemies or give bettar upgrades for killing them. But it's a really good start, well done!
Yeah thanks for the feedback, I was just thinking of making it more difficult to run by adding enemies that punish you for it. But actually adding a reward for killing enemies is another way to incentivize the player to fight instead of run, thanks for the idea and thanks for playing!
I liked the visuals, and the gameplay has potential. I'd like an incentive to actually kill enemies, because you can just outrun your enemies - maybe some enemies that punish you for just running. Also more levels, enemy types and upgrade types. GJ!:)
Yeah for sure! If I had more time I'd add archers/mages and maybe revamp the wave spawn system to be more likely to spawn enemies right behind you sometimes. Thanks for the feedback!
I dig the paper like aesthetic of the game. Bravo!
Thank you!
I really enjoyed the mechanics, I really like the visuals and there are only two more things I would like. An endless mode because I wanted to see how the hammer and everything really big and maybe some sound effects would have been nice. Good job! It's a great game!
Thanks for playing, those would definitely be good to add in the future!
I like the idea of all your upgrades scaling each round. And I love how the hammer starts out useless and by the end it becomes so powerful you realise you don't have to dodge the bad guys anymore, you can just swing at them. Love the visuals, some sound effects & music would have gone very far, but nicely done!
Yeah definitely agree good sound effects could've made it better, thanks for playing!
I won! but I just chose speed and never had to fight. Nice visuals and fun upgrading!
Ah man, I didn't even think of that approach LOL, next time I'll add in archers to make it harder for you
Interesting little vampire-survivors-like. I feel it would be improved were the rounds to go on infinitely, or at least to more than 5, but that is only a minor gripe. The game was entertaining. Good work.
Yeah that's definitely something I considered, but I decided to keep it short and simple because it honestly doesn't take a lot of rounds for you or your hammer to get bigger than the map hahaha
Entirely fair lmao
yay doodle gang here! Picked bigger hammer every time and did not regret it. Very fun little game!
Thanks so much!
Nice! I like the doodle style a lot. The small dashes and the spawn in animation is super cool and makes it feel very nice to play. I would've loved to swing around my hammer like a beyblade LOL but I understand limitations. Super good job!
Yeah a beyblade hammer would definitely be a good edition LOL. Thanks for the feedback!
Getting giant hammers is the best feeling in games
Glad you liked it! Had to think of the weapon that would be most fun to play with once it's massive lol
