It's so challenging! The idea of reusing golf shots is very interesting though. I'd be interested in watching some crazy person win this game!
Really cool idea! Fun tone to go with it and juicy design throughout. Took me a little bit to get used to, and even then I found it quite difficult, but really rewarding when it goes well. I particularly liked being able to use each shot before the previous one was finished, added an extra layer of tactics to it all
This is a challenging game. The idea also is nice.
First few levels are well surprising with the unique mechanic that I had to get used to. The gameplay is a little strange that I find each level make a too much of a difficulty differences.
Very nice.
This was probably the most fun game I tried this jam. I would love to see more level packs on a phone version of this game :)
Great idea! I like how you don't have to wait for the move to be completed to go to the next move. It combines the careful planning with some action oriented gameplay. Great job!
a really well made mechanic, made the game pretty fun
Very fun! I love the mechanic, I only managed to reach hole 5.
We both went for golf games! though completely different gameplay so.. Still great minds think a like!
some music would have been nice as it feel empty, and the relation with the theme is a bit abstract.
But man the gameplay is smoooth
Thanks!! I might've made the music too quiet but it is there! - it pulls the whole vibe together I think :) Thanks for playing and for the suggestions!!
Very good and refreshing concept!
Very original concept, that was hard (I only managed to get to hole 5) but fun. Nicely done! :)
Very nice concept, challenging. Never had I thought that a golf game can be a puzzle game as well. Great work
Amazing job making a difficult but fun game
Nice concept, its really challenging. But the changing scales didnt quite feel natural to the game itself, maybe you could use the jam theme some other way idk, still pretty fun game!
This is one of the best puzzles I played in a while! Simple, clear and to you face idea, really enjoyed it
This is a hilariously unique idea! The puzzle of having to memorize what the layout of each hole is, and plan a shot that would be useful in multiple of them is very complex and interesting. One thing that I kind of wanted, which would make it slightly easier, is the ability to choose the order of which of your previous shots to use. But that might break the intentionality of some of your puzzles. But overall, great work!
Giving me fond memories of playing 4D golf earlier this year, with the way everything scales around. The repeating-your-last-shots mechanic is really interesting - makes me take a lot of weird shots early on, so that I have a few moves I can use later on. Lovely golf game, nice job!!
the core gimmick makes it an interesting puzzle!
A nice funky golf game!
Great golf game, I love the mechanic of reuse the shot. Congrats!
I love me a good golf game. Image my surprise when i found out it was a puzzler :D Really cool idea, love how you need to reuse shots, it really makes you think about how to tackle each level. If i manage to get to that spot shooting to the right and bouncing off the wall instead of shooting to the left, the next level will be easier... All those kinda things, really great!
One thing though, I think it would be cool to be able to retry levels (not the whole game), because timing is quite important (especially with the changing shapes), and having to start over because you missed your shot-timing by a fraction of a second and the wall happened to expand just at that moment can be a bit... frustrating.
Anyway, spend a good 45 minutes on this getting hole 5 done, but gave up on hole 6, loved it, keep up the good work!
Thank you so much for such a thoughtful comment and for playing the game!! :)
That's a great suggestion! I was worried about it being too easy with a level-restart button, but I really should've added it in and spend the time to add a few more levels to balance it out, especially if the changing shapes feel frustrating at times! Definitely wanna add that when the Game Jam's over! Thanks!!
Very impressive for 48 hours! Simple but very nicely designed :).
