Overall I liked this! Really the only bug that spoils this is the reset loop, but when you're in the thick of it it's good simple fun! I really like the idea of forcing the player to keep the pedal to the metal, nice chaotic energy that could be enhanced by including some drift physics. The physical coins are also a novel way of punishing the player for not driving well, definitely something to keep in the back pocket! It has that nice, simple, quick loop you find in classic Miniclip games, if you were to complete a post-jam version I think it would be right at home there.
A few bugs but a fun game. You've broken the rules of all games though, you can knock down trees when driving into them. I'm shocked you haven't been banned from itch for this haha. Good job.
Very fun & engaging mechanics, I had a great time with it! The reset loop bug was a bit annoying, but not a big deal since everything moves at such a quick pace anyway that restarting the game wasn't an issue. Nicely done!

Great Game. Controls of the Car feel a bit weird. but overall i liked it.
I love the PS1/Saturn retro look! The controls are OK but sometimes I hit a bump and there's a bug that makes me get stuck into a reset look.
Great style. Not the most compelling loop, though. I see why some decisions were made, but I feel there's an element missing.
As soon as I hit a bouncy ball, I end up stuck in a reset loop, right after the first upgrade.
I like the idea of picking up the coins and upgrading as you climb the mountain. Too many enemies for my taste, but fun.
I love the push and pull of wanting to take risks to collect more coins while trying to preserve the coins you do have. I really like the visual style. Having also submitted a 3D game with a scaled down (heh) resolution, I respect the amount of charm you were able to put into your game. Especially under such short time constraints! There was definitely a little jank (what game jam game doesn't have a little jank!) Especially when respawning (?) the physics could get a little wonky. But, honestly, the toy like style was so charming it wasn't even that upsetting getting tossed off the mountain by a slime lol Great stuff!

Takes the simple idea of collecting resources and upgrading, but with the additions of a resource that is physically in your car and can fall out, cool visual upgrades and nice style overall, it takes it to the next level. Some bugs, but still a cool idea.
Fun game, but sometimes the truck bugs out and keeps teleporting in the air. Anyways, good take on the theme!
Fun game! After a while the obstacles stopped spawning, so it made the game a lot easer lol. Great job!
