How does your game fit the theme?
The player needs to adjust the difficulty scale of a dungeon to not be too easy or too hard for npc adventurers. The dungeon also scales in size :p.

Loved the intro! Overall quite an interesting idea for a game, but it feels like it needs some rebalancing to be more fun

Developer

Yeah, we ran out of time towards the end of the jam and didn't manage to fit much rebalancing

i loved this game! it's pretty addictive and i can totally see myself play hours! it's really complete and has a lot of upgrades which is great for a jam game, very well done! the idea is very cool and the art is also nice. it seemed a little hard to apprehend at first, because the mage killed all my skeletons and i didn't see i had spikes but after that all went smoothly!

here are the only things i would like to see if ever you want to make a full game out of it: a way to keep the speed value (i was at speed x2 during all the runs but i had to select that speed again every time) and a way to have the camera centered on the hero so i can have a full playthrough of their run without having to dezoom a lot

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it!

cool idea really like it

Requires thinking to kill the adventurers... but kill them just a bit, not to the death! Also has a learning curve, when you need to learn adventurers' attack patterns. Very refreshing idea, I enjoyed it. Really good game!

Glad you enjoyed it!

This is a very creative way to fit the theme. The game is very engaging every step of the way, forcing you to improvise with every stage. Extremely addicting, I've found myself sitting here for a long time to adapt my strategy to be the best. The characters are cute and fun and there are possibly unlimited ways to expand that game later. A lot of potential and a lot of it is already shown, great job

Nice twist on the idle battler genre. The amount of text/UI in the tutorial spooked me a little, but the visuals well made up for it. Gj :D

Finding the perfect balance between all the all the info we wanted to share in the tutorial and keeping it brief was a real challenge.  I'm happy our friendly neighbourhood goblin Pinoccio managed to help :)

Very cool game, with original idea!!! But I would love to have informations about my monsters

Developer

You can check this information in the in-game encyclopedia. It can be opened by clicking on question mark icon in the dungeon editor view

Very cool, albeit a little repetitive.

Right off the bat, I love your art and the comic book style intro. The tutorial is great and witty. I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but I wasn't able to figure out how to replace monsters/traps on the 4 positions.  Despite that, great concept and very very fun!

Developer(+1)

The idea is that you cannot remove or replace what you've already placed. Early on we've found out that if you could just rearrange the entire dungeon for each hero the game didnt pose much of a challenge. Instead we opted for the ability to buy new rooms and expand your dungeon and found that a bit more engaging.

The idea is interesting. After a few rounds, I do not find much enjoyment in it anymore though. It feels like there is nothing to persue.

The art is very beautiful. Thank you for your submission!

Did you manage to find the victory screen after the 10th adventurer? We've strived to add as much depth as we could in the limited time-frame of the gamejam.
