Cool concept! I do not like the art, including the music, very much. Also, the animation for the blocks of slime (?) flowing into the sinkholes is very slow and boring to wait for.
Uhhh...I won but I'm still not really sure how.
Neat idea to flip the objective on it's head. But the controls are sluggish and arguably become the most frustrating part of this game.
The 3rd level is a bit of a weird one. It starts as being blocked already. I don't get it qq
I like the intention of the game though.
fun and unique!
Very clever idea, I don't think I've seen something where you have to block the passage as a goal, music is fun too!
Interesting game idea, though I couldn't go past level 3. I'd like WASD controls too, bot overall I liked the game
Hey all,
The softlock checker has some quirky logic and isn't 100% accurate, if you find a softlock the game misses, give yourself a big ol' pat on the back.
There's also one way you can trick the softlock checker into thinking you've won even though you haven't. Bonus points if you figure that one out!
Thanks again for giving it a play.
A good puzzle game is always refreshing in a game jam. Also love block puzzles. This is a bit of a unique take on them as well. It's simple enough that you can figure out all the mechanics yourself, but complex enough to make you consider your strategy and learn to think contrary to what we normally do (as gamer's we learn a certain way to deal with/think about puzzles so learning to think in a different way is good for us I think). Overall fun game, thanks for your submission!
Clever idea to reverse the puzzle genre to deliberately lose, but still have a very playable concept! I really appreciate the undo button in there too, that saves a lot of time.
Though there are times where I have "soft locked" myself in (mid way through a green block interaction), and it feels like that should mean I've won.
