This is a really good game for your first game jam—very funny! I also loved the graphics; I work with pixel art myself, so it was especially enjoyable to see

Developer

thanks

love the game and the writing is quite funny, but the timer is REALLY tight, especially when you have a dumpster to move.

Loved the art style and the dialogs, like the "You're Broke" when trying to buy a too expensive item from the shop!

Developer

I was meant to take that out because it wasn't centered but im glad you thaught it was funny

Great game! Especially great since its your first proper game jam game. I read the other comments so while the timer going negative makes sense now, since the timer is bonus points I would instead label it as such, because while playing it felt like a glitch, like I was supposed to have lost the game. Also, I think your characters movement is not normalized though I could be wrong but it felt like I was moving faster when moving in the diagonal direction, which not bad is something to look at in the future!

Developer

Yeah, changing the title to time was a choice made mid-development wich looking back on it I shouldn't have done, and no the movement isn't normalized because I feel like when id it's just too slow diagonally but I'm pretty sure that just me.

The majority of the UI was outside of the screen for me so I didn't see my points. This made me feel not rewarded for finishing in time, even though I probably was. Despite this I enjoyed it, the gameplay is nice. I think it fits the theme well. It's just a guideline to get you thinking, it can be interpreted a number of different ways.

Developer

thanks bro

Nice game, good replayability.

I also interpreted the theme in a similar way, and at first also thought of putting objects on a scale but as a puzzle and then went in some other direction.

The art style is great! I wish some hitboxes were a little bit bigger because it's hard to push the boxes horizontally.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I was so used to the hit boxes that I hit it every time but when other people played in front of me  I realized i should've put bigger hitboxes in, Thanks.

First of all even if it doesn't *technically* fit the theme, I love how you incorporated "built to scale" into the game! haha. I felt like there wasn't enough time on the timer (or maybe I'm just really bad) and once it started going negative it didn't really make sense to me what it was for. I like the art art style and was really impressed given that it was your first game jam game! Well done!

Thank you so  much for playing and the really nice feed back man , Your Great

Edit:btw the reason the time goes into the negatives is because the time you have left is added to the points to motivate to finish quickly
