Skale's hoard will be save with me! As soon as I figure out how to steal it all! But seriously, the game was really fun to play! This would make a really good mobile game, where you need to keep the treasure out of the lava!

Developer

Thank you. Touchscreen support is actually something we considered and will be added if we release an update.

I love the art style and it's a creative idea for fitting the theme! I wish there were more choices for constructing the platform like hanging chains, maybe.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback. I'm glad you liked our interpretation of the theme.

My rekord is 52... and I realy tried... What am I doing wrong? 😭

Developer

There are some stone pillars sticking out of the lava you can build onto. They're a bit hard to see. Also, beware of the stones, they are very heavy so they can really tip over the whole construction if not placed above a solid foundation. Try to be resourceful, as if the gold goes below Skale's greed the game is over, so don't spend all the gold you have. Kepp an eye out for the greed (the second number).

Well executed, I like the idea, and the art is cute, but the gameplay feels like it is missing something. There isn't enough meaningful decision-making for the player, and not nearly enough happens as a result of their choices. Maybe you could add pegs or something like those arcade coin machines and allow the player to place objects to route the coins to the proper place or something? I'm sure you have better ideas, but something of that nature where the player feels like they are making an impact and things are happening due to their choices.

Either way, this is still a great jam submission. Excellent work!

Thank you very much for the feedback. We have plans of balancing some thing out. I'll keep in mind trying to keep the player more involved throughout.

This game is adorable! It's simple but not monotonous. The artstyle is eye-pleasing and Skale is the cutest! ♥ Makes you want to play more than once. Good job!

Simple mechanics but its really quite challenging, really cool idea!

Submitted(+1)

I love how simple the game's mechanics are. That made the game pretty fun to play!

Also, please find a better lair next time, Skale. Lava and gold do not mix.

I think I'm getting obsessed with playing dragon themed games this jam but your dragon game is way too cute to ignore ^^ Bless you Skale I'm sorry for dropping your hoard into lava for the Nth time.

Developer

Thank you for playing! Skale still has gold to bring, so don't worry about it too much. But if you do help them more, they might bring you something a bit more special 😉

Very pretty game, and definitely a challenge! It did take me a long time to notice the pieces sticking out of the lava as they blended into the background, and also it would have been nice to have an option to speed up the animations at the end, but overall quite fun!

Developer

Thank you very much. We plan on improving the game a bit, balancing some stuff out, so the feedback is very much appreciated.

I really enjoyed playing this, I got stuck playing over and over again. First I was very frustrated with the stone blocks, then I finally understood that they can stand on lava and its not meant to just throw all your gold into the lava when the stone blocks tilts your platforms.
Well made and fun! Goo djob!

Developer

Thank you for your reply, we are glad that you enjoyed it! We only heard about our good dragon friend's trouble recently, and didn't send the best instructions to their helpers, this is on us! (...and on Skale for pranking us with the switched stone provider.)

Submitted(+1)

This is a small detail, but I love how a single coin falls off the platform the first time Skale drops in gold. It’s a great way of immediately teaching the player how the game will work!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! At first, Skale started with a much safer platform, but after some (intended) rumblings, Skale's helpers can now learn immediately, that they really have to put in an effort at the start.

Awesome stuff, loving the pixel art, nice work!

Developer

Thank you! This is our first time showing the world one of our mysterious friends, and due to all the positive feedbacks, we don't plan on ending here!
