Really great art and animations, I love that all the objects were little guys. The different physics materials on each object was a great touch. Awesome work!

Developer

So happy you noticed the physics! All of our ideas were brain-farts that actually came together cohesively. I think the little caricatured objects, created by my teammates, carried the quirky-fun feeling in the end.

Love the art style and animations. Fun game that could maybe do with a touch less physics madness (in my humble opinion!) I got stuck on the victory screen so wasn't sure if there were more levels or anything

Developer

Yeah, the level-select screen doesn't get in-your-face when you finish a level, like it should. We've only got 6 short levels. The physics was a fun challenge — interesting to juggle making things easy and making things absurd. Thank you for sharing your humble opinion <3

The rubber ducky's physics is making me question reality... cute game! I love the animations. I would like some more challenging levels to test my scale stacking skills. Well done! :)

Developer

My teammates asked me more-than-once to tone down the duck's bounciness; I think I went a little mad with power. Thanks for the comment! The levels were kinda thrown together, but in retrospect, I wish we had more content with the mechanics we built.

After playing Scale Stacker, I feel like the objets around me a looking at me funny.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing Scale Stacker on stream! I had a blast watching you play everyone's games. Really enjoyed the thorough, constructive insights you provided. Looking forward to playing Tetro Builder.

This was fun, and I really enjoyed the art style, especially the idea to animate each item. The music was a little too in your face by the end of it. Also ran into plenty of bugs re: surpassing the weight but still losing the level, but such is the fate of a game jam game! Nice work overall.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for playing and for leaving such detailed feedback! I’m really glad you enjoyed the art style and the animated items—that was something our team had a lot of fun creating. I totally hear you on the music variety, and we’ll definitely take that into consideration as we expand our skillset.

As for the weight mechanic, your screenshot actually highlights something intentional: the goal is to get the scale's weight to match the target exactly, rather than getting the highest-possible value. I can see how that might not be entirely clear, so I appreciate you pointing it out.

And yes, game jams often come with their fair share of bugs! My favorite is when you select a level with many objects (like Level 3) and restart before it’s fully loaded—you end up with items that don’t belong! Definitely something we’ll look into post-jam.

Thanks again for the feedback, and I’ll be sure to check out your game as well!

at first, my eyes hurt from all the color. but it is so charming i honestly couldn't love it any more.

Developer

Thank you so much for your honesty! We definitely went all out with the colors to match the quirky, chaotic vibe we were going for. I’m thrilled to hear that the charm won you over in the end. Your feedback really made my day—thanks for playing and for sharing your thoughts!

Small but really cute game. I'd love to see more of it :3

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the kind words! We're really glad you enjoyed it. 😊 We kept it short and sweet for the jam, but we've definitely got ideas brewing for more levels and challenges in the future.

It made me laugh so much! We are a Jam twin, we have the same concept of the game, I love the quirky feel you have here! great job!!

Developer(+1)

No way, really?! 😲 I'm definitely going to check out your game, Jam twin! We had a blast making this one, and it's awesome to hear you enjoyed it too. Thanks so much for the comment—hope you had just as much fun with yours!

Very fun little game, it did feel like I was just guessing how much stuff weighed at first, which I assume is the goal. I liked how different objects had different properties! -Kaylee

Developer(+1)

Yes, that was intentional! It emerged as a fun design pattern during development—finding the fun in guessing the weight was part of the challenge. The different physics properties were a rewarding challenge to implement, so I'm glad you noticed. Thanks for the comment, Kaylee! I'm excited to check out Frodger's Courtyard Quest too :)

The grabbing mechanic felt a little funky, also the typoghraphy made it difficult to read. BUT, i really liked the game. The physics + puzzle component made it really fun.

Developer(+1)

Yes! I completely agree—it's probably the biggest thing on my "needs polish" list. But I do think it adds to the chaotic nature of the game in its own way. Thank you for the feedback! <3

Love it <3

Thank you so much! <3 Your support means a lot to our team!

Loved the style, gameplay is very simple but fits the theme. Great job! :D

Developer

Our goal was to pick a mechanic that was achievable since we're often ambitious with ideas. Even so, it feels like this mechanic was not fully explored. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment! Looking forward to checking out NineSlice. Hope you guys had a fun jam!
