How does your game fit the theme?
After obtaining bananas, the player can train with the weights, or pull their arms on the arm trainer to gain strength and arm length stats for longer reach and farther swings. Monkey trains hard, eats bananas, gets larger, longer, better, stronger. Monkey naturally scales to overcome more difficult environments. Swing to the top of an incredibly tall mountain.

Living in the monke paradise.

Very fun game, in my opinion it totaly deserves full game release.

At one moment game glitched, and i became a haunting ghost of a monkey (locked me from completing the game, but nevertheless game was very fun)

UPD.: "Stuck" button not helped

Developer

YOO thanks for playing. Looks like you got far and yeah that banana is known to end runs. We want to get that fixed asap.  Thanks for posting.

Creative idea and cute monkey! I laughed out loud with the arms stretching. Didn't completely master the swing around though.

Good job!

The browser version is broken on my end so I'll have to download the game to play it. Great work!

Developer

try using chrome if you have it, it seems to not work at all on firefox or some other browsers, sorry!

Really fun game! I was bugget at strength training and it kept pulling me towards weights. Game has a great learning curve, which really adds a lot of flavor to the game. Audio would really enchance an experience tho. This game also has a dedicated music, but I understand you couldn't add it 😂. For anyone willing to give game a try, I highly recommend listening to it on youtube while playing. Awesome experience! 🐒

Developer

Thank you! There are some bugs we've been fixing and some bugs we've been adding (not on purpose) since the submission deadline. We will publish all of our changes as soon as we can! Thanks for checking it out!

Monke. Awesome game, swinging is a lil bit difficult though (maybe I suck), and audio would've been nice to have.

Developer(+1)

It does take some time getting into the swing of things (;  Thanks for playing!

Look, the first banana is hard. Go for the arm trainer first, then get a little strength. The game really opens up after the first banana.

Brilliant. Reminds me of an old Madagascar Game Cube game. Nothing can beat the euphoria of climbing to reach the pedestal of Alex the Lion's den.

Developer(+1)

Length and then strength is what I like to do as well. Thank you for playing!

Amazing mechanic. Way too much fun. PLEASE flesh it out. Cheers and good luck!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! we hope to flesh this out after the jam!

no seriously I enjoyed it a lot. It was very hard, but that multiplied the fun when I was able to time the swings and become spiderman for a fleeting moment. The highs in this game were SUPREME for me.

Developer(+1)

We have some ideas of how to make it more natural and seamless as well to grab stuff, it is much needed. Your comment is definitely great feedback. Really appreciate it!

Interesting game but a little hard to play.

Developer

thanks for the feedback! What would you say makes it hard? controls, etc.

Submitted(+1)

The only banana I got is the one I dig from the ground...

Idea is fun, but the game is hard and completely silent

Developer

yea we didn't have time for sound sadly. What would you say makes it hard? is it the controls, sensitivity etc? You can use the bananas to train with the weights or to extend your arms by pulling on the arm trainer, and those will increase strength and arm length giving you more swing and more range which allows you to progress more.

Submitted

By difficulty I meant that I jumped on different trees and did not see any opportunities for myself to collect even 1 banana. It was hard to catch on to another tree while jumping from one tree.

Maybe training your arms will help, but the game does not say that you can train them))

I messed with arm extenders, but not noticing that they give any effect, I went on jumping on trees.

Developer

Ah I see, thank you for the feedback

Life could be a dream... if only I could get a single banana from the paradise of above... anyways, good game
