Really enjoyed the little movement techs when in the second form! Kinda made me want to not have to use the third form (though the scale=capacity thing knocks that on the head, at least for this jam)…

I’d really enjoy a more fleshed out demo/prototype! Feels like a fun basis for a platformer, maybe with a little action to combine with the rolls and third form? Definitely seems like what those were going for.

Oh, and the character design and animations were really cute!

Like the level design. The lighting is good. No idea why but got reminded of Zelda dungeons/ Control levels. Great work on this.

Nice! The animations and character design were well done and the platforming with the slime throw was fun!

I did notice a hole in the 2nd room that I fell through thinking it may be a secret area 😅

Great take on the theme! It's fun, I could totally see these mechanics expanded into a full game

really cool to see the dev of pseudoregalia(love that game) here, the movement very fluid and fun, the animation and character design are great

took me a bit of time to realize the water restores slime, mostly because it didn't look very important

i felt the jump of the middle sized slime was bit hard to control, there is not much you can do after you've jumped besides stomping which doesn't always help, which was a bit frustrating

i like that you can bounce slimes on other slimes and chain slimes to makes some crazy moves but i felt like the limited slime resource kind of hindered me from doing that too much

on that note i don't know how this would work in a fuller game but i feel like changing forms from losing slime could be a bit frustrating mid platforming

kinda like in pseudoregalia the world feels pretty empty, i don't think that really matters when the focus is the character and their platforming but might be worth noting if you're gonna take this further

still, very impressive and really fun game

cute slime bunny? fish? goat? girl

This was such a great concept with really fluid execution! Would love to see a full version with certain platforming puzzles regarding switching forms mid-combo (like needing to break a wall with 3rd form right before spending goop to switch to 2nd form and cross a gap). I love the character design, was a nice bit of anticipation to see what the next form would look like while traversing the level. Not sure whether you'd want to stick with the core 3 forms or add more in a full game; would depend on where you'd put your focus. Animation was great too! Felt really nice to move around. I loved the little details like the plumpness of the tail being affected by your current goop levels. One of my favorites of the jam for sure!

3D for this concept is respectable

Awesome! Reminds me of Edmund McMillen's Spewer but in 3D. Controls fun, is fun to break the levels too!

movement feels very smooth, congrats !

amazing character design! interesting interpretations of of the theme.

got stuck a bit with the first form, but that's because i didn't realize you could absorb water for more slime. i was also a bit confused with the last section before getting the second form, so i cheesed it by leaving small slime bits behind to pick up later. the second form was really fun with the moment from the second jump and the roll + jump combo.

also idk if this is a UE5 thing but the buttons aren't really responsive, had to click them multiple times to work (had to lower the quality so my gpu fans could be happy, otherwise it sounds like a jet engine lmao)
