Wow, great job on this game! It was a tricky bit of fun maneuvering the cats around to make things work, and I really liked how silly they all looked stretched out like that. I think one of my cats has this ability...

How does your game fit the theme?
It's a grid based puzzle game about cats that can scale in size. I was worried it didn't quite fit the theme so I also made it so they scale a mountain π

Very very cool game! Great art, good music, great concept! Love the elongated gatto! This core mechanic is really really cool
Very good level design. You have to think differently every level, and I like that. It's so cool, when you use the same mechanic in a different ways.
These mechanics get surprisingly fleshed out and intricate in so few levels, and I'm absolutely here for it! Super nice vibes, fun puzzles, and funny snake cats. Would've liked an undo button as it feels a bit punishing having to redo the entire thing for making a single mistake. Otherwise, super solid game, actually started pushing my brain quite a bit quicker than any other puzzle game I've played this jam so far, good stuff.
I love the long cats. They are so cute. The gameplay is really awesome. Also no cat was sacrificed during my playthrough (though I did find the intended solution beforehand).
I was afraid at first that this was just a rip off of Snakebird, but this game has plenty enough differences in mechanics to have its own puzzles and catches. Almost every level had me stumped for at least a few minutes, which is a mark of a well-designed puzzles and a good difficulty curve. (I do think there could have been a couple more levels before level 1 to tutorialize the mechanics, but it wasn't that much of a problem.) This was a lot of fun! Great job!
Adorable cats and super creative puzzles.
Really love this one and definitely had me stumped a few times throughout. Wonderful game.
Long cat is back!
Quite an interesting puzzle game! a shame my brain is a bit too fried to work properly tonight.
also, cats. Whatβs not to like!
Great job!

Amazing game. I prefer the levels with just the king cat. The ones with multiple cats very hard.
Fun game with neat puzzle and cute cats. It's fun to watch the cat king becoming long ! :-D Good job on the game !
loved the cat sprites!! really interesting concept, got me to twist my brain!
Amazing game. Controls annoyed me at first but I soon got used to them. Initially expected a snakebird clone but this is so much more. I'd gadly play another 50 levels of this.
Speaking for myself, I would make these changes to make the controls smoother:
- Add some sort of animation and sound effect for holding down the space bar to build the mental connection between the space bar and the grow ability.
- Make one tile tall cats be closer to actually looking like they're one tile tall. (Their sprite is more like 1.6 tiles tall, which makes it hard to them distinguish from 2 tile cats.)
- On levels with blocks falling from a high area, include some sort of background object that makes it easy to line up the top of the ledge with the place where the block will fall.
Thanks for the feedback!
I was thinking of having a visual effect when holding space but I didn't get a chance to add it in. A sound for an indicator definitely sounds good as well
For the cat size I couldn't quite get the sprites to look right at 1 unit in height, I definitely got the height mixed up with the king while testing at least a couple times since his crown sticks up so it's definitely an issue π€
If I continue the game I'll try to make sure it's obvious where things drop and I can probably add some more background tiles post jam for the catch level
Very cute graphics! Quite a brain teaser. I had a good time playing it! Great work, your game!
Fantastic mechanic. Really liked how you could control multiple cats and weave them together. Very on theme.
What an interesting idea and what a good implementation. It is really high quality. Great job.
