Very cute game! The first few rounds the memorization went waaay too fast, but I love the shop aspect to slow it down for later rounds! Overall fun game!
Hi, thanks for playing! I do agree the speed is pretty tough at first, but I also didn't want it to be too slow considering there are upgrades to the amount of time you get. But yeah, you're probably right I could slow it down even more at the beginning. I really appreciate the feedback, and thanks for playing!
Fun little game! I thought I'd have a tough time when more dice were added but I actually got better after a couple of tries. Feels good!
Hey, thanks for your comment! I'm glad the difficulty was alright for you and that you enjoyed playing!
This was a really cool spin on memory games!
Being able to draft different upgrades was a really cool idea.
Game was super easy to pick up and get into, and engaging enough o keep me grinding at it for a good bit.
Great job!
Hey, thanks for your comment! I'm glad you had fun and enjoyed the upgrades. Thanks for playing!
Awesome! I love memory games, adding the upgrades after the level helped add a new twist on it too!
Thanks for playing! I'm glad the upgrades were something you enjoyed!
Nice work! A small and fun game, and I think it made my memory a little better by the end of it :)
Thanks for playing! I really appreciate it!
This game had a lovely ambiance and very well polished. The fact you added a shop helped with replayability as I wanted to try out different items to see if any were more helpful. A great game jam game, well done! I loved the 3D in it too
Hey, thanks for your comment! I'm glad the shop improved the experience, and I definitely have ideas for more variety. I appreciate the feedback, and thanks so much for playing!
Nice game, simple yet effective, and feels very polished. Difficulty curve is brutal though
Hey, thanks for playing! Yeah I agree, the difficulty ramps up too much too fast...I definitely should've slowed it down. Thanks for the feedback, though!
This was a fun memory game. It felt quite challenging when you get to 4x4 table but maybe with a bit of practice I could get there. The presentation was very polished. Great job!
Thanks for playing! Yeah, it gets pretty hard pretty fast. Someone else pointed to me how these sorts of things actually max out at around 4 items. My personal record was 15 so I only really made it to 5x5s.
Cool concept, presentation, and sound! The Kenney assets make it that much better! (I used Kenney sound assets)
Thanks for the feedback! Kenney is honestly a life saver haha. So many high quality assets.
Relaxing game! I really love the sound design - Thanks to it, I was able calmly sit and play a game (finally).
Nice job!
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you found it relaxing haha. My memory's terrible so I get stressed when I play.
This game is beautiful and well made, but it is absolutely wickedly hard. Human visual working memory is fairly well studied and its limits are around 3-4 items when you lay things out in a grid like this. Your 3x3 grid is definitely doable with chunking strategies for most people, but most people would not be able to complete the 4x4 grid. I can see this as being a fairly fun way to actually practice visual working memory if you added the ability for people to go into a "test mode" perhaps where they could select how large the grid was and how many unique elements, etc. Although feel free to ignore that, I'm doing my phd in cognitive science right now so I'm pretty biased when thinking about games that feel like experiments haha.
Overall a really unique and uniquely challenging submission :)
Ohh, wow yeah that's really helpful and insightful! I have no background in that area so I was just making guesses as to what the difficulty should be. But it seems I was pretty off haha. Maybe I should've started at 2x2 to allow the player to unlock more upgrades before getting to the later parts. The "test mode" idea is really good, definitely being able to freely play around with it could add a lot of options to explore one's cognitive abilities. Thanks so much for all the feedback and suggestions!
Although I am absolutely hopeless at this game, I love the simplicity and presentation, and the 'mixing' animation with the cubes is very satisfying! Well done :)
Thank you so much for playing!
Scored 5! Gosh that's hard... I like the "level up" idea where you can increase your stats (view time, error allowed count etc...)
Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed.
Yeah, I wish I had more time to add stuff...it does get repetitive over time. Thanks for the feedback!
