really creative! a lot could be done here if you gave it more time
It's a cool very cool concept of a game, definitely can become a fully-fledged out game. However, the art is pretty lacking, but the music was pretty nice. The abilities of the different dice are interesting, however it doesn't seem like they play a major role in the game, but they do still do what they were meant to do, and that's good for a short game! Well done!
Love the character. A few tweaks and this is a very playable game :)
Nice gameplay ) I’ll play your game on the stream again. Please give my game a try if you have some time!
Really cute and readable animations however I could stand outside of the aggro range of the enemies and just hit them without them being triggered. Others mentioned the visibility of UI and that the game is really small. However the idea and the main character is great!
I just read the other comments that already mentioned everything I have to complain about😅
The art and gameplay was nice, but there was a huge issue with visibility. The text was unreadably small, the game in general felt more zoomed out than it needed to be. I didn't even realize the snakes where shooting at me at first because the projectile was so small and it was hard to notice my health changing (maybe more feedback like a sound playing when hit would help too).
Still a nice concept and a cool aesthetic!
Nice to see a game made in Godot! I liked the animations and the idea was pretty nice, especially since I've only seen dice of the six-side variants. I just wish HP numbers were more visible.
The idea of having to hit the slimes across the river to get across was cool. I think the projectiles of you and the enemy could be more visible!
This game was interesting. As another commenter stated, there is a small range of space you can stay from the enemy where you can attack them and they wont aggro. Also, when I get to the second or third batch of snakes my shots were counting as misses some of the time instead of hits. Small bug, and totally acceptable, as this is a Game Jam submission. Overall, nice interpretation on the theme, and good work getting this submitted. My own submission doesn't even have the whole game loop implemented. Good job, you and your team should be proud, this was a very short jam.
Good idea, i like it. There is space for improvement, but given the time limit and it being your first game on itch it's pretty good. Be sure to improve it once the jam ends, people like being cats that throw dice xD
Agreed, this could be pretty fun. Just remember, DO NOT modify your submission for the next week unless you are ok with being disqualified from the Jam. I intend to fix the bugs and finish the game loop in mine and re-release in about two weeks, much more polished. (Once rating is over)
I was unable to figure out how to beat the game. I cleared all the enemies and was met with a blocker wall on the bridge that wouldn't clear despite everything being killed. The game was very difficult given the aiming mechanic. The led me to discovering that you could stay outside the range of the enemies and hit them with your attacks if you position just right.
For the room with the bridge, you have to hit the slimes from across the river.
