Thoroughly enjoyable, of the dice combat games I've played before I think this one makes the combat work best by combining a base damage throw with the power of the randomized attack as a bonus rather than the only attack. The frenetic sound design and energy of the animations on all the critters make for a stellar game.
Thank you, glad you like it! We really wanted to give the player as much agency as possible, randomized attack values would have been too up in the air!
Oh man this game is pretty much perfect!! Incredible theme, art style, soundtrack, gameplay, strategy in what things you put in the dice, etc... This is definitely a top 3 game I've played so far this jam and I think it deserves to be in Mark's top 20!!
Only one problem... the game gave me a black screen right when the boss popped up at wave 11... that was unfortunate. I think I saw somewhere though you already fixed it in the non-jam version so that's good!

one problem i had was that it randomly turned the screen completely black?
That was a crash lol. There's a couple of bugs in the game unfortunately, I've fixed them but I can't update the jam build just yet. I've written what they are in the description!
