Awesome game, love the visuals and mechanic and the game is really polished, Great job
Thanks for playing waza! <3

Wow. Outstanding. Your game is dripping with polish! It really doesn't feel like a jam submission! 😧
The overall ambiance is amazing. Congrats guys!
Thanks!
I think in hindsight we may have overscoped a little for the amount of polish we wanted to add. I think the gameplay balancing suffered a bit.
But thanks for playing and taking the time to leave a comment!
No problem man! After those hard 2 days we've been through, we all deserve some love. 😂
For the work that was done. Making a game in 2 days is hard. Making a GOOD game in 2 days is even harder... but you guys really deserved it! 💪
:DDD
Really nice visuals. Interesting take on the theme, some kind tower defense. The execution is great! A keybind to roll the dice would've been nice, like "r" for example (I just read some of the other comments and other people have mentioned this already :) ).
Thanks for playing our game!
Yeah, seems like popular feedback lol.
Haha thanks for playing -- definitely common feedback :)
Very nice looking game! The music fits, the sound aswell. The game overall feels very polished. The chess-esque design and towerdefense-like gameplay is a very nice idea for the theme. I really enjoyed it. Like the comments already mentioned; it would have been nice if you wouldnt have to click the dice every time, but that is only a small nitpick. awesome work!
Thanks so much!
I wish we would have thought of the roll button, would have been such a simple addition! lol
Thank you!
Nice game, really well polished. I do feel like the game would be more fun if you removed the clicking on the die to roll it and just roll automatically. The different types of enemies were really cool.
Thanks for the feedback!
Ya, I think RN the roll is up sooo often it feels like it might as well be automatic.
We had this idea where maybe you could reroll but RN I think the most effective strat is just spam placing units. It would have been more fun if we could have made it more strategic I think.
Thanks for playing and your feedback!
Loved the presentation. I'm a sucker for neonsynths. In terms of gameplay, the premise behind the entire chess-esque defense system was good, though I felt it didn't connect much to the dice theme. Yeah, I roll a die to get my unit, but that's kind of it.
Thanks for playing and the feedback!
Definitely fair -- thanks for playing!
Nice enemies :D
VERY EPIC JUICE
The death scene is cool af
overall, a veri epick game :)
Thank you!
I decided to try actually making animations for this and I'm glad I figured it out enough to be able to make the lose scene!
Thanks! AIA did such a good job on that death scene haha
I really like the idea and artwork. Very polished, nice one. But gameplay feels clunky as other comments stated: I wanted to keep my eye on the field but because of the design choice, I had to look at the top-left dice and click on it continuously. Maybe any button to roll the dice (like Spacebar) would make the gameplay more fluid.
Thanks for playing :)
We appreciate the feedback, I wish we would have thought of the spacebar idea on our own, it would have been such an easy addition!
Thank you! Like AIA said that spacebar would've been so easy to add had we not missed it 😩
the graphics are very nice! i would like if you could roll the dice by pressing the keyboard so i can make moves faster. i had fun! awesome work!
Thank you!
That's great feedback, I think that's one thing we could have (and still should after the jam) done to improve the experience with the current balancing.
Thanks for your feedback! Seems to be a common wish haha
Cool to see you and Icoso working together - loved the graphics. Gameplay was a lil' hard to get the hang of tho.
I think I just got cooked.
Thanks for playing & glad you liked it :)
Loll thanks Nate.
nice audio & video!
gameplay would probably be better if things felt more responsive. i think i've somehow got the dice into a state where it never stopped rolling (visually, it still worked). some kind of feedback for when the dice is ready to roll and when clicking the dice would be nice. and an indicator for your current item. the camera angle was a bit odd.
Thanks! That's some great feedback too -- appreciate your thoughts :D
ya! I originally thought the < roll animation would only show when you had a roll ready. It should totally play a little sound too. I think from a gameplay perspective I would have liked to have more time between rolls to make placing units more strategic.
Thanks for playing!
This game looks amazing and feels so polished
Thanks :)
Thank you!!!
Feels really good
That's wassup
Thank you! :)
Gorgeously polished, very well presented and enjoyable. Very fluid too. If I could add an idea or two, maybe could have used the inter-level screen too explain some mechanics for an even clearer experience and a button to roll the dice would have been nice in addition to clicking it but the game is already a really fun one. Great job people !
Thank you! A tutorial and a dice-roll button definitely would've been great additions :)
Thank you!
I thought of doing some fly-in tips notifications for each level when something new was introduced, explaining a new unit or enemy.
Button to roll is a great suggestion
Nice... I wished I could roll the dice with a button though so I don't have to swipe across the screen XD
Game looks great though.
Haha you're not the first to say that. Thanks for playing!
ya this has been the #1 feedback I think.
Thank you for playing :)
The game looks so polished for 48 jam, good job guys! I love the art and sounds.
One thing I would change as others suggested - I would add a button to reroll the dice and maybe a small overview of the game / tutorial. It was not hard to get but still little something would be great in my opinion.
It was really satisfying to hit multiple enemies with the bullet. Overall I really, really liked it! Again, good job.
Thanks for your thoughts :D
Great feedback! I agree, I think we kinda ramped up the difficulty too quickly.
I had the idea of doing little tips that would pop in from the side for each level when something new was introduced. I think that would help.
Thanks for playing! Loved your game too :)
The game is very nice but its a bit hard.
Haha we made all 7 levels at midnight on the last day of the jam so we were expecting the difficulty curve to at be a little off. Thanks for your thoughts!
Your welcome!
totally fair.
I think after having more time to play there's some level-design stuff we could do to make it more fun while also having a less steep learning curve.
That was pretty sick across the board. Fun gameplay and good looking.
Thanks!
Pun intended? lol
Thank you for playing!
Well done boys. Game looks beautiful. Gimme some space bar roll though!
THANK YOU octopus man. I can never seem to get those keybinds right can I 💀
Better than you last mortal sin
Ya, that's great feedback. I think it would be the easiest thing to do to make the current gameplay more fun.
Thank you for playing :)
Visuals are great. Wish the interaction was better. Didn't like clicking to reroll. Neat use of theme. Good job.
Thanks for your feedback :)
Thanks! Ya, I think a spacebar to roll might have been better for the balancing we did. I think ultimate I would have liked to have a slower roll and more strategic placement of units.
