Fun game! It takes a bit to understand everything on the screen, but once you get it it's pretty fun to play. Unfortunately on browser the window looks rather small and text and graphics are hard to read and appreciate.

Oh this was a cool idea, i just wish I could see more information about the stats, not sure what zen does or how the specific stats effect combat etc,  i just hoped for the best and used the plant guy with the petal 3 star move (which i also wish the stars were shown in the menu). didnt experiement too much with builds but my playthrough ended up with 1 loss to the boss and 1 win so the game seems pretty decently balanced. was a cool game tho, had fun!!!

Enjoyed the game a lot! It was a little confusing at first but very fun once I got the hang of it. Nice work :)

Very fun and enjoyable game! I really liked the play on Professor Oak's name

My main critique is that symbols to represent each monster's and move's element would've made it easier to figure out which moves to use, but even without that they were fairly quick to pick up. In that same vein, a guide or instructions menu describing which types are good against what would also help (since, from what I could tell during my playthrough, it relies on pre-existing knowledge and experience with other similar games like Pokemon, for example grass being effective against water).

Aside from those nitpicks though, the game is incredibly well put together and a fun time! Especially when taking into consideration that the art and music were made during a 48-hour jam.

Very nice. I appreciate the length of the game because I got whooped during the first play through and then played again immediately after because I wanted to beat that dragon. I lost again but not as poorly! I agree with others that a little more feedback would be nice. Like a monster falling out of frame when they faint. Other than that really cool and impressive to make a game with this much stuff in 48 hours

Cool game! Loved the presentation and the art was great. Some juice or animations in the combat could have gone along way to making the game feel alot better to play tho, but its a jam game so that's to be expected. Cool unique concept too. Good job!

I found it difficult to understand what the different elements and moves did, but this is a very good take on the theme! Actually really enjoyable, sound effects and music would have been the cherry on top, but this looks complex enough for 48h so I don't blame you for not implementing that. Well done!

I like the Pokemon-esque concept! The randomness had some extreme swings and took a little while to understand.

I got kind of lucky with the rolls and ended up 3-shotting the last boss :D Nice concept!
