Dice are present twice in this game. First as a theme for the enemies rolling the player's fields. Secondly, damages inflicted to ennemies are made through dice rolls.

The game didn't work for me, sadly. I was looking forward to playing it too, from the description! It sounds neat at least? Details of the error below:


Title screen worked, How to Play worked, but attempting to start the game from the title screen results in the game crashing with the following error:

Oh no, that's really unfortunate !

My instinct is that the game asked for more ressources than what your computer/browser let it use but I could be wrong.

Anyway, thanks a lot for including the error with your message, if we ever come back to this game I'll make sure to look into the problem and try to solve it as best I can (I'll also include a downloadable build next time so that this sort of problem won't stop people from giving our game a try).

The drawings and animations are incredible! The game is fun and easy to grasp. I wish there was a way to tell how much health the enemies had other than trial and error, so I could make more strategic choices. Great work!

Great job! I really enjoyed this! I absolutely loved the animations on the dice, when they get shot onto the field as well as the d6's roll forwards and their attack animations. All fantastic. I was a little confused at the start as to the symbols but quickly realized it was the next symbol and understood the planning aspect. Overall really great job though, this was fun!

The game mechanic is good but it's used on other games (Plants vs Zombies with a few changes). The best of this game is the art, really good job on that!

The concept is a bit hard to understand at first, but it is very fun once you understand it!

The aesthetic is a bit over the place. The background in the menu is pixelart, but the game itself has a very detailed background, and the enemies have a simple but cute aesthetic. All these things don't seem to belong to the same game.

But overall, it's a very enjoyable experience. Good luck!

For the concept : Yes i would have liked to put more informations for the player and provide more signs for how and what to do but we ran out of time but I'm glad you found it fun nonetheless.

For the aesthetic : I definitely agree that the menus and character aren't in the same style. To be honest, we didn't think ahead about the style that we wanted for the overall game but concentrated more on the dice enemies and improvised the background and UI in the last hours. I'll try to keep more in mind the overall game next time I do something like this. As for the main menu's background, that one is from OpenGameArt.com as my brother was still busy animating.
