How does your game fit the theme?
In my game you must litterally roll a dice on to platforms containing dots to paint the die faces with the appropriate number.

Pretty cool mechanic for a puzzle game, although I was having troubles understanding what's the goal/win-state, it's not written anywhere, neither in the game nor on the game page. It's says "paint with the appropriate number" on this jam page, but no mentioning of the mechanic of addition, which was not obvious for me. It also starts right away with pretty difficult level, first levels in such games are usually simple tutorials that teach main mechanics, I think here such tutorial levels would be relevant.

Cool concept! Very challenging. I accidentally played a later level first, and that tripped me up. Perhaps the game should always start with the first level and then players can work their way up after becoming familiar with the mechanics?

Developer

yes it probably should haha thank you for playing!

Fun concept!  I liked painting the faces on the die.  I thought it was way too difficult for a minute but then I realized that it was because I played the 4th level first by mistake

Developer

Glad you enjoyed!

This one really takes the cake on something I did not expect to see. Never would have thought of this! Puzzles are challenging and fun. Good work!

More sound effects would be cool to see.

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you so much! I am absolutely useless when it comes to sound lol but if I ever finish it I will find a way to make some effects.

Nice concept ! I really enjoyed the preview of the dice in the corner of the screen =) ! It's a cool idea with a really good execution and it fits the theme, congratulations =) ! I think the game just lacked a bit of colors and feedback (sound/visual changes when something happens), but it is expected for a 50h jam game to lack a bit of refinement. Overall a nice entry =) !

Thank you so much!

A very cool concept, but kinda difficult to get the full picture of what your die looks like. I loved the Music and 3d die in the corner was very cool

Developer

Yes that was the biggest challenge, I tried to make it so you could line up the dice in the corner with the dice on the playing field, but it was still a bit hard to keep track of which spots went were.

Cool concept! Realy liked the music, it would be great if the  game notify me if I mess up

Developer

yes that was almost a feature but i ran out of time oops!

Very original yet simple concept that was executed very well. Also the way you have to make certain sides by mixing in other sides was genius.

Developer

thank you so much! I am proud of my idea this year, unfortunately the code base isnt exactly maintainable otherwise i would finish it lol

Music is kinda annoying to be honest, the gameplay is original and use the 2D and 3D really well.

Great job !

Developer

Thank you so much! the music was a bit of an after thought to me on this jam.
