Presentation is spot on and although the puzzles are individual simple the stress of finishing them in time makes it all work. Only difficulty I had was that some dice where somewhat hard to read.

I really loved the dark atmosphere. The air of mystery even for who you are playing as exactly. All of the art plays into that. Even though pre-existing audio is used, just to name an example, it’s use is both subtle and unnerving at every turn.

The central idea behind the gameplay is simple, but effective and extensible. (Though not really my cup of tea.)

At first, I didn’t notice that the sign in the corner had changed to the multiplicative for some cards. I think that could be made a little clearer. I’m also not sure how to get more colored dice when you need them … or do you just ditch that recipe and keep going? (As long as they’re ‘off the hook’ so to speak.)

The dice rolls / sushi rolls visual pun is a good one :-)

(Lastly there are some spelling/grammar mistakes: I noticed ‘land a hand’ instead of ‘lend a hand’ and ‘with the total’ instead of ‘with a total’.)

Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, our idea was that if the player doesn't have needed colours he is supposed to put the card aside and focus on the other one. We might add some mechanics to prevent to many "impossible at the time" cards from spawning.

The issue with multiplication vs sum conditions is a reoccurring one, so we will definitely work on it.

Thanks for playing!

Cool concept, and well executed. The art is nice, and overall looks polished for a game jam game. I enjoyed the puzzles, although it got a little repetitive after a little while it's a good amount of content for a 48h game. Great job!

Very good game! Extremely unique. The sounds are good. It has a very unique art style. The head movement feels good. The gameplay loop is pretty fun. In my opinion this game is underrated and I hope more people can find it.

this game was fun once I understood how to play. I think the looking up and down part is realistic in terms of how this would work once you get the hang of it. I didn't realize you can pull down more than one ticket until I watched the youtube video. My main complaint is how dark the game is. It's very hard to read everything. I understand it was the theme/mood of the game but maybe at least the cards and dice could have stood out better

Thanks for the feedback!

We'll add lightning to the list of things in need of adjustment. Perhaps we can even highlight the upper side of the die and conditions on the cards with some glowing textures. Will definetly look into that, thanks!

oh yeah glowing would fit the theme

Really creative premise and atmospheric presentation! The main areas for improvement I could find are in the quality of life, for instance it can be hard to tell which face of a die counts as face-up when it's in the bowl, and sometimes when you're dragging one onto the sheet you wind up dropping it next to it. Still, this is really cool! Nice job!

Great idea! The graphics look great and the gameplay was confusing at first but after that good job!

Cool idea and nice graphics, but the gameplay is a bit confusing because of the layers (e.g. when taking a second order, are the dice on the first or second one?)

Developer

Hi! Thanks for playing!

If multiple cards are stacked on top of each other, placing dice on them will only contribute to the top order. However I personally find it a lot easier to spread the cards across the table, so you can work on multiple orders at the same time, so this situation rarely comes up.

The aesthetic of the game is really good! A very cool game overall!

One of the more unique games i have seem so far. It is really well made.

The only thing i noticed is that the text is a bit weird ( words chanching position...)

I love the dark atmosphere of this game, and the idea is well executed. I had some trouble distinguishing the two lighter shades of blue, maybe it would have helped to show the partially satisfied requirements. I still managed to complete 15 orders!

Thank you for your comment!

Highlighting or otherwise showing completed requirements is a wonderful idea! As for colours we'll probably tweak them some more to make them more distinguishable. Thank you again for playing (and good job, 15 orders is an admirable result)!

Very cool game! Loving the atmosphere. It would be cool if you could assemble multiple orders at once.

Great job!

Really nice concept and atmosphere.

The only issue I have is the fact that I don't know what I am going to grab when I hover over stuff, and I don't know where my dice will land either. It would have been nice to have items highlighted and to have some kind of shadow or even "ghost image" of the dice to indicate where they'll land.

Other than this small nitpick, great work!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

You're right, highlighting the object mouse is hovering over is a must have feature that we should implement in the future. Shadows are already in the game just not in the browser version, unfortunatly. Thanks for playing!

Really nice mechanic and mix up of overcooked comes to dead fishermen but with dice :D

Really fun with a cool concept and aesthetics! Took me a while to understand the symbols at the top of the orders and a few times it seemed to not put my order in when I thought I had done it right but regardless, loved what you did with the theme and mechanics. Great work!

Thank you for playing!

There is a bug in the current version, which can "break" the die and make it not work in combinations, perhaps you had ran into it. We'll definetly take some time after the jam to fix all of this issues, but for now at least this bug can be avoided. Glad you liked the game.

Very cool concept!!! The tension and the story are really scary so you feel very anxious trying to do the maths. Overall, the elements are cohesive, creative and well-done :)

I actually had this interpretation of the theme when I was generating ideas! Cool to see someone made it.
