I didn't really understand why the numbers were not changing randomly when I went back over the same space. I guess I don't know anything about dice. So I don't have much interest in this game.
The numbers were changing according to the rotation of the dice, that's why they were not random
Great game the music and art is super polished and the concept is creative. Great Job! :D
Nice game, played it to the end. Enjoyable feel, nice, minimalistic experience. It would benefit from the 3d perspective, though. Good job.
We tried to sort of solve the lack of 3D perspective with the "dice layout" popup
You did solve it, and very cleverly, don't get me wrong. But better than solving a problem is not having a problem to solve :)
Great game, has a lot of future potential with the switching mechanic.
Really clean game and had a lot of fun, especially with the switching between the several dice. Great how you gave hints to how to solve each, and it has a lot of potential if you plan to develop it further^^ One suggestion that I saw someone else also made is holding down to continuously move, but thats the only minor thing I'd add. Good job :D
It would be at least 6/7 if not our software developer's sabotaging ways
Lies and deception
it sucks,
5/7
would play again
Nice!
I like the idea of the empty die, but some of the obstacles needs more clear indications.
Great game! Everything feels nice, and the concept is very interesting. I can imagine a lot of rules and new levels that could work. Very good
Very cool puzzle game, I really loved the switching mechanic you added in the later stages. Nicely made art as well! The controls could've been a bit better cuz it felt clunky to move the die for me cuz I couldn't hold down a button. Besides that an amazing submission!
Oh, option to keep rolling would be good, you are right. Will keep that in mind for the future grid based games, thanks.
The rules didn't seem to work for me, but I really enjoyed it! Nice die rolling
This was super well made and really polished! I didn't look at the controls, and yet my instincts tell me to swipe the dice with my mouse (AND IT WORKS)! It was a wow moment for me when it comes to game jam games! The controls felt great! The puzzles were fun! The art style is decent! It was great!
Thanks, making sure the input works and does not break randomly was a bit of the challenge but I'm glad you found it intuitive and good
That is a dope puzzle game. I like how you have to use R to check what the rules for each trap is so you have to remember what the rules are. And the puzzle elements you introduced felt like they had so much potential, especially the ability to switch dice. It's a shame you only had 48 hours to design the game cause some more levels would have been epic. And the dice rolling animation is so good. Great Job!
Yeah, we originally planned to introduce more rules like one that takes into consideration sum of the dice and so on. Sadly it was hard to show it in the rules mode and we did not have time to redesign the system to fit that better
cool game!
The rolling animation looked and felt so smooth
I like the idea of the game, it reminds me of the flash game bloxor z
Awesome game! Fits the theme and overall, an innovative idea. My only criticism is that the rules were completely blank on the WebGL build, just being a blue screen. Moreover, I couldn't figure out what numbers tripped the spikes without trial and error, even though this is more of a minor frustration than an issue.
Yeah, the rules were poorly explained. They were blank because the level you were on did not have any elements that reacted to dice. For levels with spikes or explosives, it shows how it reacts to the number the dice rolls.
I should have communicated it better
Very cool concept and totally on theme, well done!
