Ye, it was hard sometime to pick up dice becthe ause physics just became crazy and raft rolled over for no apparent reason. I also feel like you need to add some kind of tool for picking up dice, so player would interact with dice more clearly. For example a net or paddle would do.

I also felt a bit frustrated why my raft went down a few times when my parameters were fine (hp more than 80 and raft more than 50). I wonder if it was just crazy physics, or if there is some mechanics I didn't understand. Anyway, I found myself sinking a few times without any good reason :(

The core gameplay is fine for me. But I would add some icons to the dice, so the player can see what it will do to your raft or hp or something else. Like if this dice gonna give you +5% hp then you can add a heart icon to it (for example).

Visual is great too! Overall a good game!

Thanks for playing btw.

I like the idea of the player having a tool yeah.

About sinking: it's probably the physics. For me the water simulation worked fine most of the time (very rarely it did freak out, didn't know why so I moved on because of the time), but I guess on other pc's it doesn't always work fine (which I should have known tbh). Another reason for randomly sinking while your raft is still floating is: your raft might have gone below a certain height threshold (due to the waves going also low), so the game thought you sunk. That's just bad design from me. Idk if you experienced this as well.

I can't add icons to the dice because it's up to you which dice you pick when u have a "quest" (displayed down right on the UI). But I can add an icon to the UI under the crosshair I guess, which will display some information. Might be a good idea yeah.

Thanks for the feedback

The game looks incredible!! Picking up the dice is weird because sometimes it doesnt get clicked, the game is pretty relaxing and peaceful

Developer

Thanks for playing. Some other people also said they had trouble with picking up dices, so I guess that's a bug then maybe.

The graphics is amazing. I was struggling picking up the dice and balancing out the ralf. Really nice concept, I like it.

Developer

Thanks for playing. I guess the physics are sometimes just a bit weird on water. And I should have probably made it a bit clearer when u can interact with dices, because that's probably the reason you were struggling.

An interesting idea, but very simple and you are completely at the mercy of RNG. Could be very neat if expanded upon so the player has more agency.

Developer

I guess yes, there is a lot of RNG, although you can choose which dices you want to pickup. It's kind of a choice between waiting for the perfect dice, but you and your raft slowly die or picking up as much dices, but it might not give the best results. But that also depends on the "quest" (idk what to call them, objectives?). So I guess making one of them not random anymore  (follow a certain order) could be better (probably the quests).

The game looks and sounds amazing, but it seemed like I sunk after around the second dice no matter what I clicked on. It is a creative concept though.

Unfortunately I couldn't play it. Everytime I tried to start it there was a "Fatal Error". I'm not leaving a rating because I never got to actually play it, but I wanted to let you know about it. My old 2013 computer can't handle the Unreal power of Strandiced.

No problem, I guess that's the risk of working with the latest engines. They don't always work on older pc's.

It's amazing! It hurt my computer's gpu and cpu lol

Game looks great and it´s built around an interesting concept. Reminds me a lot of Raft too.

The game got a lot more interesting. I got a little messed up at first, but slowly I got the hang of the game. Overall, the game got really creative and has great physics.

BEST OF LUCK :)

P.S. Check out our game too.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it. I'll play yours in a minute

Cool concept, I could see it getting fleshed out more and the visuals were clean

Interesting. I got a bit confused at first, but I got the hang of it quickly (though I still didn't 100% understood how every stat worked, like damage could go above 100% and stuff). Really creative game and impressive physics and presentation.

Developer

Thanks for playing! 100% was the base damage. If you pick up junk, it will cause more damage to your raft, therefore the damage is above the base damage = above 100%. Hopefully that makes sense.

I don't have a gaming PC the game is very laggy :(

Developer

I'm sorry. Assuming the game ran at the lowest settings, there's nothing I can do right now
