This game is an absolute delight! I love the mechanics and the scenario. It's addictive and spookily endearing.

I did start trying to roll exactly in the sweet spot of neither losing nor winning so that I could postpone earning enough notoriety that the game ended, and instead focus on accumulating as many dice as possible, lol.

Great work! I see that your high standings in the contest reflect the achievement -- those are great numbers in a huge field.

This is a fantastic game, and one of my favourites played so far. I loved the central mechanic, I loved the funny writing, and I loved the style of it. So much of it worked so well, and I can see this growing if you wanted to take it further. The core mechanic works so well, it could definitely be expanded.

I have three points of feedback, but please note how minor this feedback is, and appreciate how much I loved the game. This is simply little, easy-to-fix coding suggestions.

1) It felt a little weird to play the game primarily with a mouse, but then have to press space. This could be a mouse click instead.

2) I would have the first button press during dialogue fill the rest of the dialogue, and the next button skip. I unfortunately skipped past a few bits of dialogue

3) The dice tend to scatter outwards, which means that often the numbers show right at the edge of the screen. I would have some kinda invisible wall come in to effect to keep the dice somewhat centralized.

But, as mentioned, these are super minor points in a game that is genuinely brilliant. Fantastic work!

A good "papers, please" - like game. Making difficult decisions is surprisingly addictive.

Well done for participating!

A really fun resource manager game with a lot of polish. The balancing of the health-morale-notoriety is also really fun. The art was also well done, I particularly love the card designs.

Would love if you can check out my game too. Thanks!

I really liked this game and I'll replay it for sure.

The resources management game like this is totally what I can put hours in haha.

I felt the game hated me, loved that, would recommend :D.

The art is awesome, and congrats to the team !

(My test of the game that I had to stop because I had other games to play, but damn, I will play that again! https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1537297068?t=2h54m30s )

I really like games where you consider your resources and use them on certain tasks to maximize output. I enjoyed the game! I wish there were certain polish elements to increase the juice such as dragging and picking dice, and dialogue progressing sounds. Overall, I think you've created a nice randomness-based resource manipulation game here!

Well done!

Very nice game! Visuals and the gameplay go extremely well together.

Very cool game and also very easy to get sucked into! Love the art design, death looks so cute! Sometimes the dice don't want to stay in place, but it is still a very fun experience! I like the idea of having to resource manage your dice!

I liked the balancing of where you spend your luck, it felt risky and exciting at times but I usually played it safe. The core loop is fun, but really this game has a lot of personality for 48 hours, wow. I'm still sad about that cat. Are the dice biased in your favor at all? It slightly seems like it, I know in GMTK's randomness video that was one of the possible tools he pointed out. This was a fun game and I really enjoyed the little touches.

Hi, thanks so much! The dice are actually not biased in your favour, we wanted to keep it pure (except in the tutorial lol) to keep the feelings of risk (and they are actually biased slightly against you, a bug means you cannot roll a  20 on the d20 :(, so looks like you have good luck! ). Also, with some luck on the cat cards it is possible to adopt it, it gives you some more dice!

This is very cool! I got quite invested. I think you have a really solid gameplay loop, and the humorous tone plays really well here. I liked the distribution of dice and the strategic decisions you have to make to survive.

The most disappointing part was when I succeeded on a card that was going to give me an extra d4, but then I won and the game ended. (Which is probably a sign that the game is really enticing!)

Great work!

The art was really good and it's great to see that this is a super polished game. It also has quality humour. I've really loved all the funny games this year.

Overall, really well done!
