Really nice with some well done animations,

i like the fact that you're completely fee to explore however you like in the map and the fact that you have more than one ability at your disposal, including the lighting.

Though i feel this has a bit of a clarity issue both in the sense that you're not really sure where to go, and sometimes while trying to find a path come across leaps of faith where having ground to land on below isn't guaranteed. The fact that your lightsource's range is also really small makes it hard to navigate as the overal game is really dark when in the shadows, the visual filter is pretty cool though.

Even with that said, i feel that there's some solid stuff already there and that what do causes issues aren't that big of a deal since this could be fixed with just a bit of tweaking here and there.

Well done ^^

Very good graphics, light usage, and the CRT effect.

The plot is interesting and the map design is very competent.

About everything, the game is very polished.

Congrats! It's a really good game!

Really beautiful game, both music and visuals are great!

The mechanics were simple but worked great!

Cool platformer. The platforming and the spellcasting time feel really good. The pixelart and animations are out of this world. Amazing.

Great job! I beat the game in 7:25:832 sacrificing my self (I look old, so... ;-)) Your art and animation are incredible, the game platforming is good and the combats work well. Very good entry!

Nice job!  It's looked really polished, fun platforming, great art and sounds, and very cool animations!  Generally I did like your use of 2D lights, it added a lot to the overall atmosphere.  Though making the player character a shadow caster felt weird and made it harder to see at times.  The only thing that I strongly disliked was the few times when you had to jump down and land on a platform but you couldn't look down to see what you were trying to land on.  I think it was the part after the sunflowers that really irked me. It felt unfair to tell me to jump off and land on something with no indication of where it would be.  The result was that I had hurl myself of the cliff several times until I knew where the platform was, which is no fun

Great job overall! The graphics and audio fit very well into the game, with the exception of a couple of sound effects that were too loud.

The major downfall for me was the lighting. It was very hard to see, even with the light option, in suboptimal viewing conditions, and I don't think I would have even needed the light option (which drains mana) had my screen been a little brighter. I think it would have been just as effective to brighten up the scene and keep the glow effect on permanently (without draining mana.)

I also wanted to mention that the jumping physics felt a little janky. It seemed like you invert the y velocity when the player stops holding the jump key -- I think it would have felt more natural to subtract a certain amount of velocity each frame. This point is pretty nitpicky though, it didn't really impact the gameplay once I got used to it.

I don't mean to be super critical -- it's a really nice game! I just wanted to say how you could improve it, and perhaps to keep in mind for future games too!

I liked the art and how you approached the theme, it had a nice atmosphere. Good job!

I think a way to look down or guide the players fall (like coins/gems) would be helpful considering sometimes I was asked to go down without seeing what's down.

Really cool! I like the way you go with dark lighting, it makes the glow part much more impactful. Good job!

Great game! The world was huge, I was pleasantly surprised. The art was lovely, and the animations looked great!

In particular I loved your fire effect. It is much better than what I was able to make. Mind sharing your secrets?

Cool Game. I think it could have really benefited from the ability to shoot while jumping, since when you got an enemy on a higher place you need to go to, you are kinda stuck. Well done!
