As always, mass human sacrifice solved all my problems!

Pretty good game!

Haha well done! Thank you ❤️🔥

I like this game, has so much potential.

It felt great at the start, trying to balance out the sacrifice/progression but after a while I was drowned in resources and was lacking the prayer points to build stuff. After a balance could be great.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! :D

I'm glad you think the game has potential, makes me want to continue to iterate over it <3

Good base for a game, but I gotta agree with some of the other comments and say that it is just a bit too slow. I think the crucial problem is that there is a hard cap on how many prayer points you can produce at a time, regardless of materials. So you end up with hundreds of materials waiting around for the few more prayer points you need to get more stuff. Maybe it would be a good idea to have the option to immediately cash in the bar once it's full so you can start gaining prayer points fast.

Developer

Very good idea with a skip button for the bar! You have a chance of getting prayer points when sacrificing humans, but I guess that's not very clear communicated. We also had an iteration where the temple provided Prayer Points, we might want to dig deeper into that again :)

Very chill game, I liked it a lot. Was it just me or did the music cut out eventually? It was tough to continue in silence, but I got to about seeing how much prayer boat parts cost. Had hundreds of materials and a very happy god, but unless I missed something prayer is hard to come by :D Very fun game though, with a bit of balance this would be a great way to spend time! Impressive for a jam game, too.

Seems like you're right about the music :P The game need a lot of balancing, and I think you're onto something about the prayer points :)

This was awesome! I love a good town builder/resource management game and I can't believe you made one in this amount of time! The artwork is so cute and the music really set a great tone to chill and get lost in the gameplay and trying to balance all the mechanics! Great work!

Developer

Thanks a lot man!  I'm glad you liked it! It sure needs some polish, but we got quiet far already :D

Nice little town building simulator, certainly gives me Populos/Black&White vibes.
The style is cute. Great music, for me somehow it stops at the first loop, which is sad.
Although it's quite basic, it's a very ambitious project for a week jam. You've made a working town sim in a week, great job!

Developer

Haha I guess we muted it whenever we playtested or didn't play for the entire song, thanks for the notice and thanks for the kind words :D

Lovely art and music.  Some nice concepts too.  I enjoyed it

Thanks a lot! The art was a free asset we found here on Itch.io, it's simplistic yet pleasing :)

Nice little stategy game. Very different from other entries in the jam. I'm not sure i understood everything but something definetly got sacrificed :D

Thank you for your time. I'm glad you had fun sacrificing stuff. I hope no humans were harmed too much in the process :P

Figuring this game out was fun! I like the art a lot too!

Glad you liked it :D We can't take much responsibility for the art though. It was a free asset we found here on Itch.io
