Wonderful resource management game! I had a good time playing it! Wasn't sure what to do with my researchers but I was impressed what you were able to get together in 36hrs!

Great submission!

Thank you for you comment! 😊

There was going to be a research tree with more uses for resources, unfortunately I did not have time to implement it. 😅

Submitted(+1)

Understandable! Jams are definitely a time crunch :)
The research buildings definitely did their job of looking cool!

Looking forward to what you make next!!

Submitted(+1)

Amazing that you did this in such a small amount of time! Kudos!

Thank you very much! 😊

I love this. My favorite genre of game. I wish there were more building types and such and also bunnies that walk around to make it more visually stimulating.  👍

Developer

Thank you for your comment! 😁

Yeah, I would have loved to add more features, but did not have the time to implement things like bunnies moving around and additional buildings. But I would definitely want to make it later.

Great sim builder game. Bonus for adding cute bunnies! Lots of details to the game in such short period of time. Great work! Thanks for the inspiration on using Godot 4 in a different way.

Thank you for your kind words! 😄

Really nice city builder, at the begginning I thought of more a Warcraft 3-like gameplay but it played really well overall! Congratulations and I didn't know Godot could do something like this

Developer(+1)

I’m glad you liked it! 😄

I was thinking of making a city builder ever since I learned of the new handling of TileMaps in Godot 4. I am still not completely satisfied with the game I’ve made, but I think most of the core elements are there.

This was really good. It definitely has some potential. I like the spontaneous growth of population! That is funny and also good to the gameplay. At first I was like: sure I’ll build a few farms and then I am done… but they are BUNNIES. This got me. I would like some visual clue that I do not have enough resources to place a building, I was looking at a green house and clicking like crazy, silly little me. Thanks for the game!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your comment! 😄

I did want to make the building red, and add some sort of feedback when there are not enough resources to build a building, but unfortunately did not have the time for it. I’m sorry this caused some frustration for you!

Indeed the point was that the immortal fluffers would overrun you eventually, no matter how well you manage them! I’m glad that point came across! 😃

A very nice little sim bunny builder. I got into a nice relaxing flow after a while where I was clicking around and expanding my bunny empire with hard choices and good feedback. I really liked the gameplay and style. Definitely a good one :)

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! 😃

Very interesting! I think an understanding of exponential growth and long-term impact of choices is so important to explore, and I think/hope games are a good way to do it

Thanks for the game!

Developer

Thank you for your comment! 😄

I’m glad the game made you think about important concepts, I really think exponentials deserve a lot more understanding than they get!

I kind of wanted to make little graphs at the end to show how big the population got, so that you could see different periods of population growth!

Submitted(+1)

That would be really cool! And you would likely see the oscillating as you overshoot and try to stabilize everything... very good things to see!

Submitted(+1)

I think it is a very well made game. Great game design that makes you want to play again. I also really like the graphics and sound.

Damn, made just in 36 hours? That's really impressive.

The game was highly addictive and the difficulty ramps up the more rabbits you have! I spent quite a bit of time on this one, really nice! (Though, I do wish there was a way to get a steady supply of wood just like carrots with farms)

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your comment! 😄

Yes, I made it in 36 hours, I signed up for a little too many game jams in a short period of time (not much sleep was had that week).

I was planning to add research with the research institutes that would have allowed for more advanced buildings, but in the end even with infinite supplies the finite map would have meant the exponential catches up to you eventually.

Played this one for a long time.  Loved it

I am glad you liked my game!

Interesting game. I got desperate seeing the population growing and the carrots just disappearing, everybody was homeless, when they finally organized their selves and made a revolution to overthrown me, I lost my head ruling them. It was fun, good job.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your review 😄

I was going for a game where you will always be short of something, and you can make strategic decisions about which problems to accept to curb population growth! It always ends with being deposed 😉

I wanted to add additional elements that make an initial population growth worth it because of better tech in the end, but I did not have time to implement the research tree.

Nonetheless, I’m glad you had fun 🙂

My bunny village had over 4k bunnies before the ravaging of nature finally caught up with them!

Developer

Well done! That’s more like a bunny city 😆

Submitted(+1)

It was fun and I liked the art style, Long live the bunnies!

I wish research stations gave some sort of progress to the win condition, I'd love to see the bunnies go to moon Civilization style :D

Developer

Thank you for your comment! 🙂

The bunnies are going to live forever! I was going to add a tech tree with the research institutes, but unfortunately I ran out of time. I think it would have been cool sending some bunnies off to the moon 🌒

Submitted(+1)

I enjoyed enslaving bunnies to build my carrot empire! Well done.

こんにちは!

This was quite fun! It took me a while to get what everything and how it worked even after reading the instructions but at least I got there in the end. Was consistently keeping my approval rating in the 90s and sometimes it was even 100, which I don't know if it is impressive or not but I sure feel like it is! Managing all of your resources was a nice challenge. I only didn't get what the farm and research institutes did. Maybe some more instructions on what each building does and how much it costs would help.

Overall, very well done! ウサギいっぱいいると困っちゃいますね!楽しかった!

Thank you for your comment! 😊

The farm provides you some food (though not as effective as carrots), while the research institute is supposed to allow you to unlock new technologies, but I ran out of time to implement a tech tree. So for now it does nothing unfortunately.

Glad you had fun! 😄
