Conceptually, a very cool idea. It may have been a bit large in scope for the Jam as a solo dev? Either way, you did manage to fit in a good bit. I like the idea of the game, but it didn't feel particularly difficult. Either way, the Jam is only so long, I can imagine you had some other plans in mind also. ^^
Good submission! I had fun playing this. I agree there should be something to do that's a little more challenging for the player, since at the moment it feels as though the only interactivity comes from mining resources and buying upgrades, and I never felt like I was at risk of losing after spending so much on upgrades.
With some balancing this could be very fun. It's really interesting to see you put a resource collection minigame in a tower defense. Maybe a post-jam version? :D Thanks for submitting anyway!

There is SOOO much more I want and wanted to do for this but ran out of time. Honestly the difficulty curve is almost non existent I only had a single person play testing and this was the happy medium I could find. Resource collection being an active process rather than the generic passive seemed to be a fun idea to explore, just need to expand on it!
I like the core ideas in the game. There are a lot of elements that definitely show promise. For me, though, there were a number of things that just didn’t quite get there.
Asteroid Mining…
Over all I think this game has a lot of solid ideas and with some more work could be a really fun tower defense style game!!

Thanks! I really wanted to include Procedural Generation and figured it was the best way to have a resource based mechanic that wasn't the same old boring auto generating mine or farm house etc...
I really liked the game, one of the more complex ones I've played in the jam, specifically the mining aspect was a lot of fun
Thanks for playing!!! I'm glad you enjoyed it! The mining is my favorite part too! Most fun one to implement and learn as well. I'd like to expand on it and have there be multiple asteroids in the field that you go to so rather than hopping to a new scene you can explore the space a bit and just find new asteroids.

Thank you! I had a blast working on the mining portion! I learned a lot about using the tileset's this Jam and boy am I excited to expand on that knowledge! I have some ideas for the mining :)
