I really like the graphics styles and the concept! I love the way you handle the visible area! Very nice, to discover and enter a new area! I had some issues of lag in someplaces, but nothing the harm my experience overall! Very solid work! Congratulations!

I really liked the atmosphere of the game, and the overall graphics. I found it a bit hard to find a part though!

I didn’t experience slow downs at all, so and I really liked the way you implemented the “fog of war” effect, definitely gives a nice exploration feeling!

I like the atmosphere of the game and the exploration element where you only have a certain distance you can see the path ahead, music sounds nice and i like the art as well.

Main issue, optimisation. I downloaded the windows build and it lagged quite a bit :/

other than that the game seems to play fine, and my only gripe with the game itself would be that sometimes the character has trouble fitting when entering some of the more twisty corridors.

Overall i like what's there :) just too bad about the performance issues :(

Game lags really bad for me, at least the Linux build does. I really couldn't go that far.

I’m very sorry to hear the game was so bad for you. I admit, the map system does need a whole hell of a lot of optimization that I simply couldn’t get to during the jam. I know on my development machine (which is an i5-8500 w/ GTX 1050ti) I could just about feel the slowdown when transitioning regions. On my laptop (i7-6700 w/ intel graphics) the lag is a lot more noticeable but still playable.

I really appreciate you giving the game a try in any case! Thank you very much!

Hey! The game wasn't very bad, the _perforamance_ was! :D FWIW, on my own game I had no issues on my own machine, but others reported some lag, but that was mostly because I hadn't tested the html5 version at all!

Interesting. I didn't manage to find any parts for the voice anywhere. I think some pointers would have been nice or maybe increase the time allowed to search this labyrinth.

Developer

The game definitely could have used some time for optimizations! There’s actually a “teleport” ability (pressing the space bar while moving) which allows you to move faster in “space”.

I very much appreciate you giving the game a try! Thank you!

Interesting concept, shame it's undercooked. I found the first part and then didn't know what to do. It definitely has potential because what's there is good.

Developer

Oh… you were supposed to find the first room and press “E” on the object in that room to give it the part. I kinda put a very quick mention of that in the dialog at the beginning, but it can definitely be overlooked.

It’s definitely missing a lot of what I originally had in mind. Thank you very much for giving the game a try!

Color me intrigued. I'm still trying to figure things out.

Windows build seems too be a debug one. The game stutters like crazy when switching rooms. Maybe the debug build is the cause?

Developer

Damn, did I build the game as a debug build? I apologize as it was 3am and I was trying to get the game released.

It’s possible though that the slowdown is legit. The map does some funky (and probably poorly optimized) things during region transitions.

In either case, thank you very much for giving the game a try and I’m glad you found it, if nothing else, intriguing!
