Couldnt summon the shop keeper :( But I still like it! :D Great atmosphere and concept! Not sure what those sand-clock looking things do, the ones that trigger those "danger" sounds o.o
Love the graphic style. Movement, aiming, and shooting feels real good. Each enemy scared the crap out of me. Great job on creating that creepy atmosphere.
PSX graphics are in and this certainly looks fitting of the era. The controls are solid enough, though the bugs, instant deaths, and poor direction make it tough to play. Like others, I look forward to seeing what you/your team can get up to with what you have already. A bit more work and you could make a real good PSX game.
Keep it up!
Really liked the graphics, and overall feel of the game. There are bit too many sudden deaths, considering you seem to need to restart from the beginning after every time(?).
I like the stalkeresque vibe to the game alongside the PSX artstyle. Very much packed in a game for a jam!
I had some problems with figuring out the mechanics though so maybe a better tutorial/some notes for player to read would be appreciated.
Very interesting game! I loved the PSX art style! The problem I had with the game is that I never really understood what was going on. The grabbing device was confusing, and there were lots of hazards that would randomly kill you. I think all you need is instructions and the game would be really good, in my opinion. Very nice job!
I liked the PSX style art and the ritualistic nature of needing to repeat fetch quests.
I tried playing twice. First time died just trying to understand all the hazards. I needed to exit to restart the game, because the in-game restart wasn't working correctly. Second time I died by some gray thing in the second area that snuck up behind me and insta-killed me without making a sound. There was a bit too much friction for me to keep going after that, but I am curious if there's more. Maybe I'll come back to it later.
Quite ambitious for a game jam game. Well done!
cool artstyle
