I like how simple and yet fun this game is! I did seem to have the occasional level spawn with a spot that was to tight to get through even with the space key pressed, but the game loop is short enough that it wasn't frustrating.

Developer

Thanks so much for playing and commenting!! Haha thats the thing with the procedural side of things, bit hard to playtest! I'll try tweeking the spawn values but I'm glad it wasn't too frustrating for you regardless!!

Hey, nice simple yet fun game!

I think you nailed the scope and effort-to-effect ratio, I’m taking mental notes ;)

Developer

Thank you!! There were definitely more ideas/features I wanted to explore but as you said I had to reign in the scope, these jams aren't easy!!

I could get stuck playing this for at least an hour. Super fun and fair game play and I love clever wordplay.

To combat the "just hold space and spam m1" tactics, maybe shrinking could disable your firing, so you'd only use it as a last resort!

Developer

Thanks so much for your comment and for checking out my game!! That's a great idea, I was dabbling with implementing a delay between shots fired OR a delay between space usage however your solution solves the problem in one swing, cheers!! :D

Super fun game! The attention to detail with the clicking sound effect and the pointer squishing ability made this entry a really good one! Great work!

Hey thanks so much!! Glad to hear you found it fun!! :D

I had a lot of fun, I could totally see myself playing this at lunch time in school 20 years ago with my buddies watching over my shoulder. The music is absolutely bangin, I love this submission.

Developer

Thank you so much!! Really appreciate your comment hahah yeah the tune was a great find!!

Pretty fun! Really liked the art for the death screen and the world. My only design critiques would be that there isn't any reason to not always hold down space. And perhaps space could be rebound to the mouse for easier access?

Developer

Hey, thanks for playing and commenting!! My mate was telling me the same thing regarding holding down space :') Definitely an oversight and that's the reason for playtesting (which I didn't do) hahaha

Thanks again gamer!
