Cool game. That was really difficult for me to play but I enjoyed it! Well done!
Thanks for playing my friend!! Yeah it is a bit speedy haha, cheers!
Well, that was a neat surprise of a game. Had fun and could spend a while playing it.
Good job!

Happy to hear it surprised ya!! Thanks for playing!!
Regarding the game code, I shared it with a mate who has more coding experience and he laughed then cried at how I'd laid some things out and which scenes I'd put certain functionally in 😂😂😂
It's all a learning experience though hehe
Awesome and original controls. And really intuitive. Great game.
Hey, appreciate that!! Thanks for playing :D
Nice idea! Definitely gives me flappy bird vibes. I also like the idea for the ability to become slimmer with the spacebar to fit through tight spaces but there also wasn't a limit on that so I just held it forever haha. Would have appreciated an infinite shoot option as my finger started getting tired from constantly clicking.
Also good job with the procedural generation on the cave systems! Its always cool to have games that are different when you open them up again.
Thanks for playing!! haha yep real gamers know to hold space in my game :') ooo cursor auto turret... interesting idea!!
Thank you!!
Really an original idea! The gameplay/controls were a little rough for me personally, but actually gave me some flappy bird vibes and made me want to get better at it! Nice solo entry!
Thank you for the kind words!! Yeah looking at adding a sensitivity adjustment in game and making it a bit easier initially perhaps!! Thanks for playing :)
the music is relly cool I like it , good idea , good graphique , Actually, I like your game !!!!
Thank you kindly! Glad you liked it :D
Nice and simple game! Good background music too! The game is so easy to learn but difficult to master. Well done!
Unfortunately, I felt the level moved a little too fast and I started to get a little dizzy after a few runs. From scrolling through the comments it does not look like others experienced this though.
Thank you for your comment! Oh no I'm sorry to hear that, good idea to stop playing if that happens!! Thanks for giving my game a go!!
As somebody else already said, the click sound is great. I liked the ability to "squeeze" the cursor to fit through tighter spaces.
The enemies were challenging to see sometimes as they spawned and floated over the platforms to get at me. I feel like you could also reduce the angle of attack so there's more opportunity for players to hit them before they're able to approach you. Since they fly in at a high angle, it's difficult to get a bead on them since the space is narrow to navigate.
Overall really like this submission and think it's an impressive solo entry!
Thank you for playing and for your feedback!! It's hard to find that balance of enemy difficulty isn't it!!
I'll look at adjusting the space between the spawn points on the second level as you said it means you have to be right up the back to shoot them around the middle of the play space making it pretty intense hahaha
Thank you again for your kind words!!
Fun game with great music and sound effects - there's something magic about that click sound.
Thanks for playing!! It's amazing how much the added sfx add to the game feel!
I had a great time, tried to click/attack to the rythm of the music for fun :D Good job!
Hahaha I actually love that so much, thanks for playing!!
I had so much fun playing this even without reading about the space squeeze. Love the sountrack! Very simple game but so much fun! Congrats!
Ahh very happy to hear you had fun!! Thanks for playing and commenting!! :D
This was really fun. Simple game loop but the narrative, gameplay and polish gave it a awesome feel. Really fun to play. Great job on the submission!
Thank you so much!! Stoked to hear you had fun with it :D
Ha this was so fun! I love the sound track. It was a really addicting game loop!
Hahah cheers for that, and thank you for playing!!
So fun to play as a cursor in an evil world, I would love to learn more about this universe. The click sfx is a good example of how this game feel : nice and polished :p
Thanks for playing! yeah I'd love to add some more story elements, making the intro more visual and cutscene like to establish the world a bit! Glad to hear you enjoyed the sfx and felt my game was polished :D
Cheers!!
Great game. Would love to see it developed further
Thank you kind gamer! I've actually had a friend of mine wanting to work on a boss level so that could be added in the coming weeks! :) Cheers!
fun game! I found myself playing multiple rounds to see how many runs I could get thru (the highest was two ) one idea for feedback would be to add a setting to adjust mouse sensitivity in-game instead of matching the person's regular mouse to help fine-tune the movement.
Thanks for playing gamer!! Yeah very good point, I only made the effort to share and test the game after submission and that was the first feedback I got from a mate. Definitely an oversight on my part, it's a must have option that I'll look at adding post review period!!
Cheers!!
This was really fun! The gemeplay felt really good, and I loved the music and overall aesthetic. The click sound was quite hilarious since it matches my physical mouse sound, so it was like a small echo each time I clicked.
Only one small nitpick for squeezing the cursor: It is possible to just hold space the whole time. Maybe there could be a kind of stamina bar that is used up by holding space, so one has to be careful when to use this feature.
Hahah same! The echo outside my headphones made me laugh! Yeah thanks for mentioning the space bar issue, I've had some great feedback on it needing a nerf and your idea is another to consider, so thankyou!!
Cheers for playing and commenting :)
Nice entry. Fun game. So much more than just a flappy birds clone. I had no idea cursors could have so much character.
Those collision areas are tight! I never felt cheated. Every loss was my own.
I played again after reading about the space key. Much easier.
Thanks for playing plexsoup!! haha the space key makes for an easier time for sure!! Was hoping to add more character to the cursors but I'm glad you enjoyed what I put together!!
Very original entry!
Fun and short. I liked the choice with the music!
The intro where the mouse falls off was a nice touch, it felt weird in a good, cursed way.
I think it would benefit from a full screen setting (you can still add it via itch's "edit game" feature, there's a checkbox with "add fullscreen button" or something like that) though if that's by design it's cool too. I accidentally died via moving outside the game frame a few times, but I guess that's on me lol.
I also found it funny how the deal with the devil consisted of him letting you leave the game.
Pleasant entry overall, as others have said, it was well scoped!
Hey thanks for playing and commenting!! I'll look into that fullscreen checkbox for sure, yeah I would often do the same quickly moving my mouse into a wall as the game starts hahaha I'll look at potentially locking the mouse for a few seconds so the player can get their bearings.
Hahah thought it was a bit cheeky, thank you again!!
Cool concept, well executed!
Well done!
Thank you kind gamer!!
