I love the generated levels (though once I think I spawned in a wall?), wasn't exactly sure where to go but just the flow of exploring/falling/exploding to jump up, and balancing falls with explosions was a neat concept. The timer made me anxious though XD

The paralax is so well done!

Fun idea. Really liked the world, but only found characters right at the beginning and as others mentioned got stuck a couple times (hint: make the collision area slightly smaller on the character to prevent this).

Music was good but stopped pretty quickly and no sound effects (was playing on web version).

If monsters or something else encouraged more movement would have been better, but understand time constraints - overall great job!

Chill and interesting experience! I did find myself jammed between tiles a couple times which was a bummer way to go out. But we've all had dreams where we feel stuck in one place, so perhaps it's fitting 😅

Definitely liked the concept of just exploring a dreamscape and seeing who or what you stumble across. You can check out my go at it here if you're interested!

Audio is chilling. Concept is new and innovative. Good try.

I enjoyed the visuals and audio and just wanted to chill out and listen. I couldn't progress very far in the game as I never found another character. I do think it would be better slightly more zoomed in and with more tiles on screen at any one point. I often found it difficult to know where I was because there was not much around me.

I very much enjoyed the visuals and music. I even managed to find a character! That was a very memorable moment, and I really liked the dialogue. As for gameplay, I really wish walking didn't drain my sleep meter. I want to explore the world, and it feels like I am punished for doing so. Despite that, this is a very unique and nice game. Good job!

Thanks very much for the feedback! We wanted to give the game a slower pace, but the sleep meter need a lot more balancing

Really original idea but I got stuck more often than not. Worked fine for me in web version though. I really like the music and the vibes, the camera proably needs to be lower though. Played for around 10 minutes but kept getting stuck and didn't find any characters, but that might be because I'm bad at games

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I'm assuming you're getting stuck because the explosion boosts aren't working in the web version (?), which is such a shame since it's so vital for navigating as well as balancing the sleep meter, will fix it as soon as the jam ends

Fails to start on web. Have you checked SharedArrayBuffer support in the Itch game settings?

Developer

Oh thanks a lot for letting me know! It should work now!
