Nice short and polished game, I like how you animated the player and the sound it makes if you stay in the dark for a bit. The mechanics are introduced very gently, good job!

Easy peasy lemon squeezy :v

Sadly you couldn't add more, but I really liked the difficult curve and how you presented it. The first level you start with the bar full, so you have plenty of time to think, understand and act. On the second starts low, so you have to recharge. On the third, when you want to teach about staying in the light, the torch extinguish almost instantily. Really well done, congrats!

If you eventually try to make it bigger, what I suggest is restart in the same level instead of going back to the first after each death.

Thank you very much! I just try to learn how to develop games in my little free time, but I confess that I would like to work directly with games at some point in my life. Words like yours keep me going and keep my dream alive. Thank you again!

This is a short tutorial on how to light torches and cast fireballs.

Unfortunately, we didn't get to see much more than a demonstration. What is there is competently made, but that's it.

I'm sorry for you. You'll have to try again in January!

Yes, it's true, unfortunately I didn't have any more free time to finish the game I had in mind, but I put a lot of effort and heart into what I did.

For me, participating in game jams is really worth it because of the experience and it's a good way of learning. This is my goal and I hope to continue being able to participate and learn more and more about Godot and creating games.

It's not about win or lose, but learning in the journey. Even a demonstration published is important to me to getting confidence and keep the dream alive.

Thank you!

You'll get there. I hope I could at least validate that you did learn the things you applied in this process.

Excellent entry! Well-polished tutorials, interesting mechanic, and great graphics/sound effects/control feedback. I would have loved to play longer!

Great game, great music, great atmosphere. It's a little bit short. But would love to see more levels.

Fun game! Each level gradually increases in complexity mixing even better with the main theme! I only wish there was more levels

Nice!!! Would love to see a full game with this mechanics!

Developer

Thank you! I wish I had more time to finish the game and include the challenging stages...

Simple but meets all expectations, I really like the character. Maybe it was supposed to be an Indiana Jone like, but it's remind me more "El Zorro".
