I think you did a good job setting the atmosphere and the minigames are interesting. I liked the part after the minigames as well.

I wonder if it might have benefited from a chase during the 2nd part, or alternate endings where actions mattered when you chose yes or no at beginning or did something different in the minigames.

However I really liked it and nice job on this!

Developer

Thank you! Actually my first idea was to create a single corridor with a chase, but I had no idea how to really make it and I needed to cut down scope :p

Great idea, I love it!

Each minigame feels fun in its own right for the twenty-or-so seconds before going to the next one. And each one is well polished!

I like the maze section too and the little messages popping up as we walk. Ne narration is well made in general, I like that the game starts with a question.

The first teleportation point was pretty obvious visually though. The only other small issue I have is that losing conditions aren't well signaled. Only way to know if you're going to lose is to try.

Wishing you the best on your gamedev journey!

I'm glad that you liked my game, thanks for playing!

Really cool concept, really cool game. Overall very well done :D

Developer

Thanks! :D

Very good narrative haha, it is a very original experience.

Spoiler

But I do think that alternative ending is missing in which if you don't do anything in the minigames the entity won't take you. :3

Very good work! :D

Wow, it seems that everyone tested an alternative ending lol
I really wanted to add it, but I didn't got time 😅

Thanks for playing!

I recognized your profile picked from the pirate software jam and decided to play your game and I wasn't disappointed. I loved the contrast between the game's tone at the start and the end. the polish was so good it made walking interesting. The minigames were cute and creative which made the transition in tone between day and night more effective. you didn't present the player with long walls of text to read you passed the story well. good job :)

Developer

Hey I remember you too lol

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed playing it! It's my first time creating a game like this so I'm happy that you thinks it's polished <3

Gotta play your game too this week, I'm sure it's great such as the ant one!

I hope you enjoy my game. I tried doing many new things I had never done before with this game. I learned a lot but it is not quite where I want it to be.

Love it! Very charming and then spooky. I loved that the stickers are all over the walls in the background after the sticker minigame lol.

Developer

Thank you for noticing this detail :D

That was a wonderful little experience, giving strong SNES-era (Earthbound, maybe?) vibes, but darker.  The walk through the hall honestly could have been a fair bit shorter, using each hazard only a few times in different combinations.  I loved the mini-games, seemingly pointless as they were. I wish there was some sort of recall to them at the end (screenshots of the state you left each in before the ending text, perhaps).  One of the better little entries I've played so far, very well done!  Thanks for making a game!

Developer

Thank you for playing my game and for this nice comment <3
I hope to make the game better in a near future!

Great game with lots of polish for the time limit! I played through once and I wonder if not being naughty will trigger an alternative ending - but I'll try a bit later :)

Great job!

Developer

Thank you! Unfortunately, there's no alternative ending, I'm sorry :(

Interesting concept. The atmosphere is quite well done in the second half, and I really enjoy that the game starts by having you be naughty right after asking if you are obedient. Immediately puts you to the test. Turns out being naughty is more fun.

Thank you for this feedback

Overall good game, but the minigames felt a little bit useless. You can just do nothing at all and it would be same. Also, naughties are the besties!

Developer

Thanks! I couldn't do an alternative ending in time, but I hope to have this in a future update
