Cute but brutal lil game, I agree with others that some more “instructions” or feedback to indicate what was going on with the plant would have been nice. But I still figured it out! Great art design!
The mechanics are a bit confusing at first, but nice work!!
Very good combination of the theme and a wildcard!
As a guy who always forgets to water his plants, this game really resonated with me and I have to admit that the game over reminded me that I need to be more vigilant in the future!
I liked the visual too!
Nice concept with cool art! Sound was also pretty nice. However i always ended up dying in the first few months itself. Their should be more feedback on the results of the different actions as even if there were bugs on the plants and i avoided clicking bugs, the plant would still die in the next turn.
Very cute idea! The plant is very pretty and I was definitely motivated to keep it healthy. I played through a few times to see if I could get a different ending but always wound up dying before the year was over :')
I think the biggest challenge is that by the time I get feedback on one of the stats being too low, it's too late to save it; no matter how many times I try to divert attention to the problem, it doesn't go away. Having a warning sign first that the player can recover from would help this!
Hi! Thats a good idea, alarming player before actual problem arises. You can go "infinite" if knowing what each season does and youmust prepare for harsher seasons. For example spring and especially summer is bug season, so you need to deal with this already in spring.
Thank you for playing and feedback!
I don’t understand how to get rid of bugs
Nice soundtrack
The art looks great, and I love the concept, but I felt a little lost when it came to actually caring for my plants. When it says "too much light", I wasn't sure if I should take the light action or not, and this was the same for temperature aswell. I couldn't manage to not get eaten by the plant, but I still liked the game overall.
Thank you for playing and feedback! I agree - more information about gameplay mechanics should be implemented. The way it currently works, is you add things(Light, Temperature, Water and Fertilizer) by selecting them(besides "Dust" and "Bugs", which should be renamed Pesticide and Clean, or something like that).
Cute and relaxing! I agree that this small change would make a big difference! Great job!
Cool idea and really nice graphics. I would have liked a little more guidance as to where I was going wrong to try to save my plant (I liked the little flying bugs that appeared, though trying to address the bugs didn't really work, perhaps I didn't do this well). Overall, great execution of a simple concept!
Hi! Thank you for playing and feedback. If we update this game in the future, we plan to add ingame. tutorial or guidebook/diary and buttons will be changed to different tools you could interact. The way the game currently works is that sometimes you must prepare for season, for example going into winter where temperatures can be low, you should keep temperature high in autumn already.
