I enjoyed the mid air switch changes
Great game! I enjoyed it very much, the controls are very dynamic. The day and night mechanics are very well designed.
Great game! Loved the theme behind it. Controls were nice and responsive. I liked that I could move freely without feeling like getting locked up mid movement. The twist at the end I get was from lack of time... But would be nice to see the game extended in the future (I would definitely come back to it!). Main Critiques: Audio would self adjust in some areas and get really loud, and other times be quiet by comparison. Other than that it would be nice to have in-game audio controls.
Fairly expected idea for this jam's theme but still you managed to add some twists and nice features. Very well done game. Somebody here said that the controls were very responsive, for me actually no. I felt like that controls were way too fast and unforgiving which made the game not so pleasure after a while. Perhaps a slower speed while not grounded might be a nice touch.
Hi,
Thank you for the feedback!
Can I ask you Did you find movement annoying through the entire game or was it irritating on some parts where it required more accurate jumps?
Well, I am WSAD player and having Q as the toggle was forcing me t use arrows to be able to switch quickly. The jump distance was either short or didn't feel like I had it under control. The fly and fall speed were too fast to be enjoyable. So in other words, the game is nice and fun but the platforming is not as enjoyable as I wish it was.
I liked the ending and appreciated that it was short but super well done… having the ability to quack at the end gave me a little giggle !
Fun game! Great implementation of the day/night switch mechanic create very enjoyable platform mechanics. Good job!
Responsive controls, clever puzzles and imo best implementation of the theme so far!! Ending felt like To be continued... (with jojo's bizzare adventure ending theme)
The time switch idea was really cool, and you used it well to make some interesting platforming challenges. The writing on the walls was difficult to read due to its color.
I like it. Make it through the ending. Thumbs up. Quack.
Hey, I really liked the game, it's fun and has very solid mechanics! 🌙
The sounds are excellent, at the end of the game, I made sure to press the spacebar quite a few times to hear the quack! 😁
I would only change one thing, I found the color of the tutorial text to have little contrast in relation to the game's background. I don't know if it was just on my monitor, but it was a bit hard to read.
Congrats on the submission! 🎉
Found it very fun, the only problem besides the ending is almost like on ice movement, made some parts tricky
Thank you so much!
I really appreaciate it
Can I ask you, did you find movement like ice all the time or only in some parts?
When i moved and jumped i found that the character takes some time to slow down, besides that it's one of the most fun submission i've played
Very cute art. The gameplay feels very smooth and the day and night mechanic was interesting. Funny ending. Good job! :)
Ye olde and faithful puzzle platformer. I quite enjoyed it! And the pixel art is just solid.
