Game Description
You are a duck, you search in dark. Only one charge of your light per game

How does your game tie into the theme?
I took the theme "Light and Dark" very literally. You have a flash light. If you turn it on it starts consuming the battery, if you turn it off you see nothing, just darkness. Your task is to explore as many levels as you can on one charge.

I really liked this game. Quite a unique idea that's simple. I love how you turned a game that you can slow down (nothing is actually pressuring you to jump), but has a lot of tension (the longer you use your flashlight, the shorter overall potential distance you can go). And everything I felt was packaged up nicely. Nice UI, a cohesive art style, the music fit. Nice job.

Cool idea, I think the memory puzzle aspect is really unique. At first it's hard to judge the distances but after playing for a bit it is a lot easier. Having to manage the flashlight adds just enough extra difficulty. Very cool!

Really nice game over all. It was challenging, but also a little unclear in the beginning. I didn't know the flashlight could come back on right away, and didn't understand the numbers meant jump spaces (till I died a few times) Would have been nice to have a tutorial level explain things more. And maybe a sound effect when you landed on something. I wasn't sure what the eggs, or coins did exactly, but since you are in the dark would be nice to get a notification you landed on something.

Very good use of the theme. It's not easy say the least. Good light control as a resource kinda. puzzle and platformer in same.

Cute little game for 5 days of work! I appreciated that the theme played into the actual mechanics, even if taken very literally. The music was fitting, but a jump SFX was notably missing.

On first playthrough, I misunderstood that I could still use the flashlight after I started moving, since the instructions disappeared, but "[shift] for hint" stayed. Spacing was harder for me to judge on flat tiles, and tapping shift + space together felt a little unnatural, too.

I appreciate the effort put in to make randomized and beatable levels. I liked trying to encode and memorize the first level as jump spaces while I had unlimited flashlight, too.

Nice submission and I look forward to your next game.

What a great Idea! This is another great example of less is more. I hope something this brilliant would come to me for a jam sometime.

This is surprisingly good and original. The movement and flashlight mechanics work really well together and make for a fun experience. I'm glad you added the hint button, otherwise I think it would make the game 10x harder, to the point of not being fun at all

I love this!  The music and the mood is super good.  The only thing I'd add is some feedback when you get the extra points.  Real clever, even if I'm not very good because I'm to proud to use the hints.

Cool simple arcade game, fits with the theme quite well. Good job!
