I agree with all the feedback given so far. Adding to that, locking the camera to the playable space is also a good, and having a "kill zone" so even if you fall out, you automatically restart the level. Don't worry about addressing every at once, but keep building up your skills and your "bag of tricks". Good work and keep it up!
I agree with the feedback below so I will not repeat what has already been said.
First of all congratulations on publishing your first game! Even if the game has some issues it is still a worthy achievement to be celebrated!
I fell out of the world - there should be something in place to keep this from happening or handle a reset when this happens. I also thought the game crashed on the last level.. But I think maybe I just died as shooting the area with the stick gave me a win game screen.
Definitely keep up the work, this is a fantastic start!
Some feedback, as you asked for it:
Don’t use my game as an example, this is my first jam and I could’ve definitely better in every way, but especially having good cover art.
You could check out a few of the games my friend made (the older ones were with GameMaker), including a good way to do cover art.

Did you draw the art by yourself? If so, I appreciate the effort, it came out pretty well
This is a good first game. Next time, I think some sound effects (I usually just download small asset packs from itch.io itself just to have it) would help. It is important that the actions in your game communicate well their consequences for the player. Shooting enemies or taking damage should be immediatly noticeble, and player-game feedback is really important
Looking for some tutorials or quick tips for game juice and feel might help you a lot. Game dev is very rewarding, so if you like it, don't feel discouraged. The only way to get better is to simply just make games. The more you make and the more you explore different mechanics, techniques and genres, the better you'll get. Don't be afraid to fail, just try to have fun and be proud of what you make :)
the animation changing between forms is very nice.
Pretty good for a first game. Wasn't very clear to me what switching between light and dark form did. There's no audio (understandable, audio is hard and my submission doesn't have any either). The end boss also died after 1 shot, expected it to have more health.
