I liked the tower destruction mechanic it really added some depth to the gameplay, I felt like a few of the guys would almost immediately get shot as soon as you spawned in, its nice you dont need all of them though but its not clear how many you can lose and still win
given the game's cover, i did not expect this to have competent art. the visuals and spritework is really nice! i really wish there was audio though. it's also easy to get stuck in walls. good job nonetheless! consider trying my game as well!
great job, you have some fun ideas here! it would’ve been nice to have fullscreen mode for a better view of the game and piggies, and some audio would’ve added a nice touch too but considering the fact that it's a game jam it's no big deal. the destructible tiles were a blast, along with the physics this was surprisingly polished in terms of gameplay loop. I enjoyed the gradual difficulty increase. however, as i mentioned before, without fullscreen it was tough to see and click on objects. sometimes the player and the pigs would get stuck in walls. overall, the concept and level design are well thought out. well done!
Great job, a lot of really fun ideas in your game. Would have been really nice to fullscreen it and get a better view of the sprites (if you were having trouble with this, you may need to go into project settings -> Display -> Window -> Stretch and set the Mode to Viewport). Some tunes and bloops would have been nice, as well. But it was really cool when the buildings started shifting down and realizing they could actually be undermined like that.
Jankiness aside, I enjoyed it more than I was expecting due to the preceding apology. Having things fall apart like that was a fun take on destruction.
The destructible tiles are a lot of fun! And I liked the steady progression of difficulty as the game progressed.
I was unable to get the game to fullscreen though which made it hard to see and click on objects. When I got stuck in a wall or dropped a pig, I usually couldn't tell if I just misclicked or if there was a bug.
But it's a great concept and the level design was well fleshed out.
Had some glitches getting stuck in walls, but still fun! I like the destructibleness
