Very hard game, but doable. I agree with previous comments.
Here are a few other tips and feedbacks:
_physics_process
.duration = distance/speed
.edit game

coyote time, jump buffering and speed adjustments were already on my radar, but most things you said I didnt even think about, so thank you again!
Re-using the player's pathing for the ghost was a neat idea. And the ghosts sprite is cute.
The game would definitely gain a lot by adding some coyote time.

It's an interesting mechanic for a platformer, it encourages you to rush through the game instead of taking your time.
I think that with the added difficulty of the ghost chasing you, you could have made the platforming easier. I couldn't get past the vertical wall section.

but as you saw, its still very unpolished (and I REALLY need to make some music and sound effects)

I agree with Cedric Here, I really like the mechanic of the pursuer but the platforming frustrated me. I like having to wiggle out of the ghost lol.

yeah, it needs a lot of polishing and numbers must be tweaked in the player properties
Man, this game is really hard. I tried to reach the top, but it's so hard to time the jump correctly since you start falling at Mac 2 speed whenever you reach the max height. However, the pursuer mechanic is well implemented and trying to dodge the ghost while platforming is an interesting concept.

unfortunately I had VERY little time this jam, so its very unpolished. I definitely need to tweak some numbers to make the platforming better
