Great game! I like the decision making, I got a bit too greedy and died haha.

Fun game! I had never seen the original so it was nice to try it out here. The mirror mechanic is a nice addition as its fun to use it to get out of danger. Felt like the game had a well-balanced challenge. Overall, really fun, well done - congrats!

Nice take on the classic! I like the unlockable difficulty options and online high scores, they add a lot of replayability.

To nitpick, I think the controls could be improved a bit. Currently, vertical movement is prioritized over horizontal movement, so pressing up while holding left makes you move up — this makes sense and feels pretty nice. However, the opposite is not true — pressing left while holding up does not make you move left. I think the last pressed input should be prioritized, and if the last pressed input is released it should fall back to the previous input. I hope that all makes sense. It just feels really inconsistent, and actually caused me a handful of deaths.

Other than that, it’s very solid and pretty addictive. I got #2 with 14k points at the moment. Some villain beat me with a score of almost 69k while I was writing this, that’s wild.

Oh - nice observation about the controls, I'll put that in my post-mortem notes (along with seeing if I can provide better controller support).

Great idea to add to a older classic game! The SFX are great and the upgrades to the score multiplier feel well designed :)

I played for a lot longer than I was anticipating haha, great job :)

I've never played qix and didint knew what was it, at first I was confused but I got it, super fun! I love how you implemented the reflection theme also!

I had Qix on Gameboy when I was a little boy. Fond memories :D. I don’t remember if it had a handicap system back then, so the addition is very nice. The high score system is a very cool feature, and I love that my score gets updated with every run.
Lovely game :)

Despite never having played the original Qix, I found this very addictive and am bookmarking this to play more later.  It's a bit of a shame that the slow build speed ability replaces the mirror mechanic, but otherwise, great job, no notes.

Love the sounds of the game, very retro. And I like that you can change the difficulty of the game as you like.
