Fun variation of classic game 🙂

Gameplay
This variation on the classic game with the slinging is well thought out and fun to play. Controls were solid. It did took some training to get the aim right.  Fun to play!

Graphics
Nice 2D art style and ship design. The explosive effect was good also.

Audio
8-bit like track went well with the graphics. Got a bit monotonous after a while. Nice little SFX.

Theme
Space invaders twist and in outer space.

Devlog
Good solid devlog with some images as bonus. Well done.

Overall a very nice space invaders variation to play. Keep up this good work💪!

psst Space Invaders is from the 70s :D Great devlog.

This is a really cool game, i'd definitely play a more more polished version of this.

This game was fun! Bullet control was a bit hard but it feels good when you make a good shot. I think it would be better if game was running a little faster, and maybe up-down movement too.

i love it!

I love playing your game and reading your devlog...

the gameplay was enjoyable and challenging,

and the graphics were acceptable as long as they were pixel art

the theme as someone said before, it's work

The only thing that didn't go well with the game was the music, and I guess because it was so loud.

I really like this slinging mechanic, it adds a lot and makes it a lot more skill based. The music was alright, it did get a bit repetitive after a while. The game was fun enough that it made me want to retry multiple times!

You gave the classic Arcade games an interesting twist. For me, the mechanic was little bit hard to control, but I succeeded in shooting some enemies. Felt good :-)

The audio was too repetitive for my taste, but the graphics look really nice.

All in all - I like your game!

Gameplay: I really like the concept

Art: Polished art

Audio: Not a fan of this audio loop, I would have preferred something more lively

Theme: Space ships in space, it works

Devlog: Really cool devlog with nice explanations

Great job!

Gameplay: The concept for slinging the bullets back was amazing!! I loved the idea! Overall it seemed a little to difficult, but maybe that was just me.

Art: Looks pretty good! Could have used for some background art like stars or something, but other than that, it's fine.

Audio: I feel like the music and sound effects really did not fit this game.  They seemed a little to high pitch so after a while, it got a little annoying.

Theme: Seemed find.

Devlog: Nice devlog! really informative! And the pictures were a nice touch.

Clever idea to have a field that redirects bullets! Original! I found the music a bit tedious and ended up muting it, but that may be personal preference. Certainly a creative take on classic spaceship games. Good idea to list the tools you used and how you came up with the theme.  I especially like the simple but elegant and descriptive art for the redirecting field.

Developer

Thanks, I really struggle with music, so I usually make a small section to put in a loop, which definitely ends up making it a little tedious.

Nice work, hope you would play my game too…

Sorry, don't own a Windows machine 😭

Okaay… but nice game of yours.

Right sorry, I should've elaborated, your game is Windows only, so I can't play it

Yes, no problem, but your game is nice, I played it.

Hey, thanks for playing, you're totally right about the reload scene being too long, but I needed a way to hide what my family called a "seizure-inducing behind the scenes". I probably should've put in mouse inputs, but the Unity UI system gives me a headache 😂, Thanks for pointing out that my devlog link didn't work- I had it set to draft.
