How does your game fit the theme?
It's about a farmer fighting aliens in space.
Other things you want to share with the players of your game.
The game is short and not super optimized, but I hope I can still get some feedback from the players.

Good effort in just a couple of days. Short but fun to play 🙂
Gameplay
Simple platformer game. Jetpack gave it a little extra. Controls worked well. And not a long game. That's a pity but maybe something for an update after the jam.
Graphics
Nice pixel art. Fun also. Fitted well together. Character was cute too.
Audio
A background sound track would add to the ambiance (When I set the music louder I did hear it..check..nice). The SFX were cute too.
Theme
Space farmer is a original choice 🙂
Devlog
Available, that is good! Bit short maybe.
Very good attempt for the time you had. Well done 💪!
Dude this is super cute :D Nothing wrong with doing a short game for a jam if you execute well, and you did. My only critique is you can't see much vertically so its easy to fall into a pit you didnt see coming.
Thanks :) Yea the vertical visibility is something to be fixed. Also, I tried launching your game, but I have a Linux machine and the windows build wasn't working properly, so I couldn't rate it :( It looks awesome though, it reminds me of Brütal Legend.
im glad it reminds everyone of brutal legend :D
yeah especially with the jetpack being so powerful it was really easy to get lost vertically. I totally dug what you made though, the art is cool, and it was _different_
Fun game. Classic platformer controls. Easy to understand. Graphics are cute. I think winning without collecting all cows should not be possible, and there can be a cow counter to see how many cows are left.
Nice work.
Gameplay - Simple, easy to understand controls with a simple goal. However the jetpack in my opinion should be able to lift you up even if you havent jumped / are in mid air.
Graphics - Really nice graphics, my own issue with them is that when you compare certain elements like the trees and the gun, the pixels are different sizes, so it looks odd in my opinion. However I love the graphics despite that one thing. Well done!
Audio - Nice SFX, could be even better if there was background music.
Theme - I feel like since the game is set in space, gravity should have less of an effect than it does, however maybe the planet occupies a similar amount of space to Earth in size. Well done for making me think of space in two ways there!
Devlog - A lot of detail, but after Thursday from what I read you probably had time do a lot more so it couldve helped the devlog to go into more detail about what happened after then for each day. For example what mechanics were added, bugs, decisions etc. However the explanation for the reason why this game was made is really detailed. Well done!
The player movement was fascinating work, also the Audio was good..
in general your game is very fun .
good luck
very fun
This is a fun game! Your ship looks awesome - and so do the aliens & cows. Audio and sounds are nice and space-ish. When you hit the green guys with your laser - this one is my favorite!
Gameplay: found a little difficult to get used to boosting with a mouse button and jumping; suggest less clicks to restart the game after dying
Art: Simple and clear! Nice! I like the background a lot too, and parallax was a nice touch.
Audio: Clear about what was hurt noises and what was shooting noises
Theme: Creative take, very good!
Devlog: Some clear takeaways and notes on your creative choices and scope limits. Scope is hard to do correctly!
Hi, here's my devlog for this submission. Didn't know that it was going to affect the rating, but I didn't have time to make one anyway, so that's on me.
Devlog
Thank you for the rating, I will give your game a shot too! The devlog is uploaded now, you can find the link here in the comment section since I didn't want to mess with the game entry.
The art and audio are really nice, and the game feels pretty polished- short and sweet! Unfortunately, I think I'm gonna have ding you for not having a devlog- I know you said it'll be in on Monday, but we were supposed to have those done before the jam ended 😬
From what I have read having a devlog while submitting was the ideal situation and it has to be done by the end of the voting period, but that's on me. I, unfortunately, didn't have time to write one, but still thanks for the rating. I'll give your game a shot too!
